Was there anything in particular which led you to make your werewolves so much more human than they're normally depicted?

Many reasons, one of them my love for artwork made by two people on DeviantArt, namely GoldenWolf and SugarPoultry, where they depicted werewolves and anthro wolves in a more tribalistic, civilized version of them and not like pure killing, mindless machines. Another of them my intense love for werewolves in general and the figure of lycanthropy, and an analogy of being who you are as well. In some folklore, as well as in some roleplay games like Werewolf: The Apocalypse, you do not choose to be a werewolf, nor are cursed to be a werewolf: you are yourself. You have always been a werewolf. You only discovered that.
You then decide what to do with it, if to use your newly discovered self and your nature for good, or if to cause mayhem with it. In my nation, while werewolves are more depicted than humans or vampires or other creatures, they are not the majority, not even for an instant. But nobody would care what species you are, saved for old farts and bigots of the nation. After all, werewolves are still humans, still, people who pay their taxes (I hope), still people with a family and with goals.
Another reason is that this nation is a love letter to what I love and believe in as well.

During the cold-war, it was actually split between the communiards and British. The USSR collapse led to the democratic state ruling over the islands again.

What made you want to make Sweden Islamic?

I always wanted to play on the worst possibilities that could possibly happen if Sweden straight up opened their borders to all migrants. We have all heard the stories of what is happening to Sweden and I kind of just had to give into my urge to take it to the extreme.

What makes you really love the idea of mermaids a lot? Was it The Little Mermaid? Or even Pirates of the Caribbean? Or some other media?

Honestly, I don't actually consider myself a big mermaid fan- I mean, they're cool and all, and I always wanted to be one when I was a kid, but I don't like them any more than the average person, I think. I suppose the main reason I personally like them is because, when I was a kid, there was a "mermaid zoo"-type place near where we lived, where people dressed up as mermaids, and I guess it left an impression? The Little Mermaid was honestly way less of an influence, and now I'm just upset with how it makes it hard to find any good mermaid art that isn't based on Ariel.

To answer you, I was previously involved in the Garry's Mod community, back when I used to have a YT channel. I made crappy animations. When the channel went down, I decided to make Garry's mod stuff. Most of it was edgy. Then one day Garry's mod broke, it was an infamous update afair, so I decided to try Source Filmmaker and switched over to it. Then, i decided to learn how to use blender.
I have been on Steam since 2012, been doing that since when I was 11 years old as well. I am now close to 22 years of age.

It's a question that's been there for quite a bit in the back of my head but I've never really gone ahead and asked it. Considering how (at least in my opinion) there's a bit more freedom in factbook formatting compared to the catalog-style forum posts you use, what made you choose to go with this approach instead of more traditional character profiles?

I tried that before, actually. At first, it was just one factbook, then two, then eventually I went with this. I did it because I love the forum look for the characters. The table and formatting looks better on forum than a Dispatch (in my opinion, the Factbook/Dispatch tables are a little cramped). That, and I don't want to have 61 dispatches to navigate around. Other than Valentijn and Valentina/Anastasia, the others have 60,000 characters (pun intended) per... character, so I have a lot more canvas space.

Most nations that have a large corporation running everything typically are fairly oppressive or at the vey least don't care very much about their people. Yours on the on the hand is rather well run. did you set out to do this on purpose or was this just a result of you being a good boss?

As for the fantasy, the very first concept came in the form of Valentijn and Clarissa just being Presidents of two nations on opposite sides of the world. They have the plans, to save the world! I always wanted to do something about a Cold War becoming hot and... well, radioactive, which happened in Val Z. 2016 was back when I have A LOT of time to improve my writing because of conscription, so during my downtime, I have all the time to write, write, write! And write I did!
