IRL speaking i just got inspired by the Czech flag and a scrapped idea of a pyroland nation, but adapted with colors from the TF2 palette.

What made you choose your country as hispanohablante?

Originally, it was just because LP was written as a Cuba-styled Banana Republic until constant rewrites made it less and less Latin American, though it never stopped being part of the Hispanosphere. And then some time 2 to 3 years ago, I thought: "¿Porqué no? Yo no se casi nada de Asía Oriental. Cualquiera pudiera hacer chicas-gato japonesas. Eso es tan aburrido. Un cliché. Tengo el material historiográfico para hacer una nación así. "

TL;DR: I felt comfortable with it, it's familiar to me.

Do you have any other puppet nations planned in the future? It seems your four nations run the gamut already, but you do seem to be quite the RPer.

It's six now considering what I've got planned for CBG. The scope's just expanded to include more and more.

Probably not going to do an FFT puppet but I might look into a near-PT Age of Sail puppet. There really aren't that many of those around here that aren't GERMANY BRITAIN BRITAIN france GERMANY GERMANY RUSSIA WOO!

Not at all. In fact the only similarity we share is that we enjoy making plausible MT alt-his nations without delving into FT and FanT mumbo-jumbo. I get my storyline inspiration from medias like TNO among others. However, NQ was my nibba and I miss him even though he was questionable.

Well, I can't say I grew up in Thatcher's era, but I generally like her leadership style. I'm from an area which became very prosperous under Thatcher, so that certainly contributes to it.

As for my Supreme Minister, she is almost entirely like me, except she's agnostic (I'm a Christian) and she is a civic nationalist (while I'm something of a cultural nationalist)

Depends.

If a cloud flips you the bird you can just go commit ritual suicide because you're probably cursed and going to live a horrid life. Otherwise most of the messages are generally about the rain and shit. This is because their "divination" is literally primitive meteorology with extra esotericism thrown in.

As mentioned before, Mustafa is based off of me and who I want to be in the future (though as my sig shows, however, droves of girls do not love me). Bashir represents my cousin Bashir, whom I don’t know that well. John my Uncle Joe, Ali and Tala my parents, Halima my cousin Husayna, Mahmud my cousin Manaan. The Khans, however, are completely make believe, though I realize now that Soraya is a lot like my IRL friend Symone, but unlike Mustafa and Soraya one liking each other, I never liked Symone, though (despite the fact she is a lesbian), she admitted this year that she did like me for a short time around two-three years ago. The Khans and others, minus the powers, and even the Abu Jamals based on my family are meant for me to show how Muslims really are. We’re different people and peoples. You have MANY people like Bashir and Soraya, who engage in interracial marriage. You have some people who prefer arranged (not forced) marriages, like Sharifistan’s Khalid, while other like Bashir and Soraya prefer to date. Some of us like Mustafa and Bashir are multiethnic and have relatives who are not Muslim. We all say “Salaamu Ālaykum” differently, which is why Mustafa changes how he says it depending on whom he’s talking to. Sharifistan’s Khadijah and Insaani princess Shauzia are hijabis, while Soraya wears it part time and Nura is starting to wear it full time. We aren’t monsters: we’re people, with quirks and flaws and different opinions (Soraya’s dad thinks he can force her to marry whom he wants, the only main character who thinks like that), we had crazies in the family (Ismail who is intent on making the family “pure”), and mentally disabled people (Shiraz Khan). At the end of the day, give us some tea and talk to us about soccer, and you’ll see we’re not so different from you.

About half way. Part of it is just inspiration of the Western USA.

1. Honestly, my favorite ancient culture are the Hittites (and Syro-Hittites, but they're basically nothing if I'm honest w/ myself...). I haven't really based anything off their culture, but they're definitely my favorite. I also really like the ancient Pontic Greeks (Mithridates deserved better, 100%- ignoring all the dead wives, sons, daughters, and Romans, of course). Third favorite non-Mesopotamian culture is the- had to think on this one a while- Apalachee, since I had to do basically my entire first internship on them, and I know there's basically nothing cool or special about them, and almost all the information about them that we had to tell people were basically just lies made up by some guy from the 60's and another guy who died a few years back, but I guess they're just the stuck in my heart now.
2. Consciously, She's entirely original. That said, I did try to base some of Her outward interactions, and the way She's presented based on certain divine figures. In addition, I think I might have based Her personality on that of Hades in Lore Olympus, since She was originally quite different in personality, much more in the vein of Mesopotamian deities (that is to say, vain, generally angry, and basically non-existent).
3. She's an ancient deity who missed out on the invention and popularization of the radio by a couple decades, and is still incredibly unaware of how they work. That, combined with Her conflicting certainty in Her skill with technology- "I am the Great Goddess Who Leads, it is My duty to lead in all things, including knowledge and innovation!" said Ilitu, to the transmitting end of a radio, seemingly certain in Her intent- and general social inabilities, is the origin of the joke.

2. Mostly Google is as far as I get, but sometimes I find a good artist, who has a really nice (and relevant) catalogue, and I follow them on Instagram. Unfortunately, I'm absolutely useless w/ technology, and while I've tried to use DeviantArt before, I always end up giving up, because I have no idea how it works. I know I've tried Pinterest a couple times, but I always get information overload, I guess, because I never liked how it feels. I've never actually heard of ArtStation before, so I'll be sure to check that one out, thanks!
