A2. The only real challenge is keeping everything consistent, which sometimes can be a bit of a possible in the way of "oh, I did this here, so here it must be this as well". I usually make the words and sentences on the fly, by combining vocabulary and grammar from Polish and Dutch. Which is where the puzzling part comes in, as sometimes I will forget that I already had come up with a word or way of saying something in Daarish, and need to double check with previous stuff. But it's fun, I admit!

Whenever I'm writing out nations I find myself picking out one or two golden eggs out of the bunch, but with your massive amount of amazing ones, I couldn't choose one myself. Unfortunately, I have had only two RPs that I had joined and become invested in -- both of which were Valentine Z's Dinner RP. I am perhaps the least qualified to say anything about RPing, as my lore is too specific to join any roleplaying (and definitely is not open for outside influence) and I am not a fan of war RP. 1) To quote myself:

My main reason for deciding on them is pretty three point. First off is the fact I enjoy using Earth creatures as a base for alien races. Almost all alien races you see are just three eyed bipedal humans who inexplicably have the same social structure and cultural trends. Basing my scifi races off of Earth animals allows me to use their IRL tendancies to make unique cultures and social trends, and gives something familiar for the reader to latch onto. Secondly, My last nation was a race of scifi felinids who had a primarily carnivorous diet thanks to a desert homeworld, and I wanted my next nation to be different from them. Thirdly,
I just am a fan of rabbits. I think they look nice.

2) God yes I absolutely loathe Monarchies. I do not think they should be killed, or even arrested though. I do think they should be deposed and thrown out of Modern politics and society however, even Monarchies that are just figureheads. So my hatred is nowhere near as extreme as the UCBR, but I still think Monarchies shouldn't exist.

Sabaton, certainly. As a history buff, any band that tells a story about something in history already has my attention, but they way Sabaton does it, with no bias, no cover ups or censors, just telling the story as they know, has me absolutely loving the band. My personal favorites would be Bismarck, Wolfpack, The Last Stand, and Camouflage, though i love most of the songs at the same level.

A1) Carribean Arena is going to be about all of my previous characters with their respective nations being put into a pirate setting with them adjusted for the time period and have them well...fight each other. I have yet to write enough characters for that to happen as of now. However, yes, you will see Sven and Akatora fight each other with swords.

Q2) What and who have been your favorite nation and character to write and why?
A2) I've always liked writing Sven as I kinda view him as my son. Also, Sven gets more interesting responses in F7 due to him just being more of a divisive figure. However, as of now, I am working on a kind of rewrite of Shin-Makai and I find myself enjoying that more so due to Shin-Makai's lighter tone.

Q3) What type of media do you consider to be your major influence? Game, anime, or even music?
A3) Most of all, Touhou. It's influenced both Shin-Makai and FenexOrg. Shin-Makai in the general lighthearted tone and FenexOrg in its combat system which lead to the idea of combining gundam with bullet hell. Also, music does influence my writing and I find myself sort of shifting the tone a little when I listen to different kinds of music. In fact the decision to change Toreador from a standard Prussia-esque nation to 1600s/1700s France was out of music.

A4) It's calmed down, though I do admit that there have been some changes. I would say that most people have come back and we even have some newcomers now.

1. I probably enjoy this nation a lot more than Aeritai. Mostly because I'm more attached to Quinn and her story. It is my opinion that Quinn is one of the best characters I've ever written.

2. I do identify with Quinn (Minus the PTSD) we both have struggled at some point and we're both worried about the future.

3. I keep the leader format so it will be easy for other posters to find Quinn's factbook.

The other ball in the comic is Corruta, which is pretty much the only nation in my region that the UCBR is in friendly relations with. The Rawr is The Raltean Empire, who is both my PT alt, and the Kingdom that the UCBR fought against for many years.

Do you have any plans for that struggle of power to tip in favour of any one faction as you develop your nation, or are you always gonna have it be like it is for the sake of storytelling?

This power struggle actually has always tipped towards the other three factions and away from the President who is essentially everyone's puppet so it will be rather static and/or growing into some kind of reluctant symbiosis in which one side cannot last without the other... both in this world and the immortal realm of Arpent. There will be more explanation later as to how esoteric matters play into the stage of mere mortals, not only in Monaco but also Europe. So the short answer is that it's not going to move, and if it does it will be slow.

- Starting off with a bit of a downer note: The most frustrating thing that you had to deal with on your NS career?

- And to counterbalance this: The best RP or the best thing that you have ever done, and that you are genuinely happy with it? I'm sorry if this was asked before.

- Do you have a running theme, in particular, when you create characters? For instance, bar the obviously long names, people told me my characters tend to be wholesome, tall, or has that adorable look to them... for the most parts, anyway. Like one of those things that you create that made people go "Oh yeah, that's Aiko written all over it." It's not to say people have cliches attached to them; just tropes, and it's okay to have them.

A1. So this is a double reference. The song lyrics were from here! I add it in as a semi-non-sequitur of sorts because while it IS random, I also have a bit of experience in Artillery back in my National Service / Conscription days. ^^

A2. I would say Clarissa more. Sure, Valentijn might be a semi-self-insert (everything is semi- with me). Valentijn is not a whole self-insert, but he definitely has a bit of takes and inspirations from me. With that said, Clarissa is the very first character I have created, and I really do love her more because she makes me happy. Thinking about her makes me happy. ♥

A3. Oh my God, this is going to be disappointing. Truth be told... it was OOCly / meta laziness from me. I know Yangon is the capital and by default capitals have the largest pop, but for this one, I plugged in actual figures from RL countries and adjusted their populations accordingly to the canonical population of Val Z. In other words, I am actually going to redo the population bits in terms of adjusting the numbers.

A4. Several attempts. The data was fine and easy, I got most of the nationalities from Wikipedia. The plotting was... praying to all the Computer Gods to make sure that Excel won't crash on me. Looking back, I can definitely use Python as with some graphs I have done.

A5. I would say as back as when I found the site called Triangify.io. I remembered when you don't have to pay to save the high-res images, but... wink-wink, you can still use a snipping tool for the job. In short, I started making them more triangified back in November of 2019. Then it spread to my other factbooks. I am honestly happy with how it looks because the PhotoMosh effects and Vaporwave-like stuff won't fit Val Z. I found that the liberal use of rainbows and a huge range of colors help in making Val Z more vibrant.
