Q1. Did you make all the vehicle and infantry sprites yourself or did you base it off an existing template?
Q2. When did you start using homemade sprites instead of regular old google images to represent your vehicles/infantry?
Q3. How did you come up with the concept of Fenvarium?

Oh there certainly is, especially after the Necrophage Crisis. Many Martians blame the Necrophage Crisis, and the deaths of over 28 million people, on the gross incompetence of the United Nations and Earth in general. Given that the project that caused the Crisis was willingly protected by high-ranking UN officials - including even the Secretary-General - during its development, Martians continue to see Earth as a persistent threat to its independence, with its leaders constantly scheming to restore Mars' status as a colony of Earth. As such, Martians tend to view their cousins on Earth as untrustworthy, unreliable, and power-hungry, though this anti-Earth sentiment doesn't give rise to violence or anything like that. That being said, the use of the term "Earther" by Martians to refer to H. sapiens in a derogatory context, as opposed to the more politically-correct "Terran", has been observed to be on the rise again in the wake of the Crisis.

A1: All of the vehicles, guns, planes, and boats I drew by hand and with my own scales. As for the infantry sprites, I got an outline from a friend and then edited them to fit my own lore and stuff.
A2: Mmm, I would stay I started using my own drawings and stuff back in like 2016 with one of my older nations. I typically don't put up a picture until I draw it, cause most of the things I find don't fit. Like a lot of the Space Battleship Yamato concept art does not fit the fens even though its sci fi WWII in space. But, it also lets me do something other than writing and I always liked drawing, even if I am terrible at it.
A3: Now that is a long question, but in short; I wanted to have some sort of sci-fi space fuel that wasn't just nuclear power. At the same time, I was watching several WWI documentaries and playing too much Gears of War. So, after some thinking and talking to friends, I came up with fenvarium: a highly toxic but powerful space fuel that is on par/slightly more powerful than fusion energy. That has a wide field of application, from powering civilian vehicles and starships to chemical weapons.

I noticed you're relatively close to where I ended up on the Sapply compass so I've got to ask, how do you reconcile libertarianism with "southern nationalism", especially given the potential connotations and implications of the latter? From my non-American perspective, I would've thought the two to be mutually exclusive.

I believe in a free South consisting of the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, the Carolinas, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee, and finally Kentucky.
The reason I want that free South is because I hate the modern US government and the corruption within it. The only states I still see as possible to convince to secede are the states I listed, especially Texas and Louisiana. Every other state and it's populace would more than likely want to remain in the shitshow that is the USA.
As for how it's compatible with Libertarianism, I don't see how it wouldn't be. I don't want a second Civil War and I don't want a White Ethnostate. I'm absolutely fine with peaceful secession, and if it came down to civil war or remaining in the US, I'd pick remaining in the US.
I'd like to know what you think Southern Nationalism is, since you seem to see it as incompatible with Libertarianism.

1) I mean, yes and no. A common trope I like to embrace is xenofiction, so in many ways Vao act like humans as a sort of allegory. However they do have many notable differences in their behavior; they're much more unempathetic and egoist than your average human. Cooperation is not something that is expressed between willing parties, but something to be enforced by a higher one. Additionally, they're more territorial and sedentary, which is rather unusual for flighted birds in particular. This leads to being much less explorative, as both a psychological consequence as well as an analogy to how trapped many of them feel. My biggest concern is less the psychology, and more the sort of literary consequences I want to tell, and this can often lead to quirks that are contradictory to both birds and humans. I'd say it's not really that hard, but it is hard writing it all down lol
2) Honestly people don't really ever seem to get the same read on my characters. Everyone who looks at my nation seems to take different things away from it, and honestly I really like that a lot. Nobody ever annoys me with what they say about my leaders. Well, except maybe the people who are "ur nation bad cuz i'm xenophobic and i hate aliens!!!11!1!one" people, they really annoy me a lot.
3) Really hard to find out what my favorite is! I've consumed so much sci-fi shit through my life it's hard for me to nail one down. I'll say right now that my favorite is the Vasari from Sins of a Solar Empire. In addition to their oppressive societal structure and curvy architecture, they played a big part in my childhood as it was a strategy game I played a whole lot of. But ask me some other time and you'll probably get a different answer. Honestly, I like just about any species other than "typical human federate republic with blocky starships"

The NMNAOS group which stands for "Non-Member Non-Applicant Observer Status group" is an alliance of 6 nations (including Cavirfi) who have ties with the EU, and are willing to contribute to EU trade, politics, and culture, but don't want to change their societal status quo to match EU standards.

This group is also meant for nations who want to be members of the EU but can't fit the first criteria for joining the EU, which is...be in Europe.

Currently the NMNAOS group members are: Israel, Lebanon, Morocco, Estima, Weissprussine, and Cavirfi. Estima has a bit of trouble with Cavirfi being part of the NMNAOS group, because... Cavirfi is just a bunch of Estimans who didn't want to cooperate in a war against "nice girls".

What inspired me? My love of Confederate history (to clarify, I hate the Confederacy and what it fought for; but it had damn interesting history) and my love of both Louisiana and Arkansas.
How much of my own views is portrayed? Few, if any. The only things even remotely similar to my genuine beliefs could be the economy and the governmental system (with states and cities having significant autonomy). The rest is based off either the Confederacy or 1800s-America.
What year is it? 1866.

Basically I was experimenting with ink, ink washes and different techniques. The symbols are Korean for “Bang” and I did this triangle and circle symbol as kind of like a signature for all 5 of the studies.
I thought this one was cool looking and kind of flag like so I took a picture of it and made it my flag.
