My first impression when meeting them a while ago was "Oh hey, it's a fellow anime aesthetic nation! The topic seems a little questionable, but I'm definitely interested."

Dangit I already did Kiu, BN skip me pls.

Well, this is the first time I see them, because they created their nation pretty much today, so my first impression was: "Oh cool, an African nation. We don't see them that often."

We are a FT space federation, that uses the vastness of space, and our advanced technology, to create a post-scarcity economy, with robots and dinosaurs. The closest equivalent to our nation is the Culture, and the Sophons. The nation takes place in an a universe that was devastated by a nano-machine swarm 500 years ago.

There are lots of things that stood out for me from this nation for my first encounter such as the nuclear wasteland. I was under the impression that it was going to be a Metro 2033 fanfic again, especially coupled with the Slavic theme and the irradiated nuclear wastelands full of Headcrabs from Half-life. AU keeps going to such lengths to remind me that that's not the case.

Another is the presence of strong male characters, which simply left me a distinctive first impression. It exudes an atmosphere of masculinity like Surrealist Patagonia do (oh my), to the point that I have an impression that it would go to such a direction like Western Fardelshufflestein , even if there are female characters like the First Lady. Reading the OOC Dispatch certainly didn't help.

I remember being quite astounded by their worldbuilding the first time I opened up one of their factbooks- I think it was either about government or Feryis culture and intangible cultural heritage- and your work really did leave a strong impression on me. I was also rather surprised by how there was another anime-themed or at least more lighthearted socialist nation, since I didn't imagine there would be anyone else interesting in creating such a world.

For Reverberating Days, I think it was probably the first, what I would consider, truly narrative-type nations that I'd seen- it still likely is, unless one maybe counts WF's Alastair storyline. But, my first impression of RD was that the character-building of it was genuinely impressive, and I think I might've mentioned it before, but what was there even at the time was enough to create a feeling of, like, interest, I guess? By that, I mean, it left me with the impression that the struggles of the sisters, and even the interactions of the side characters, was... meaningful- that what they were going through was meant to matter-, if that makes sense.

I remember being quite confused, as I first saw Zitravgrad over a year ago (though did not really post that much back then). Namely; I was trying to reconcile the fact that it sounded Russian but without any overt communist symbology. That's changed, naturally, as I have actually [r e a d] their factbooks by now -- or at least most of them!

I think my first exposure to Rein was actually through the marketplace he and PPC run. I didn't really care much about Rein then because I wasn't really sure how to go about navigating that side of NS at the time, and, well... I was still running on the ol' American "gobm bad" side of my brain back then. I do remember distinctly checking back into his lore later and being impressed by it even in its older form, though, and I think I've gotten a little closer to him recently. We shitpost in the same circles now, at least. So that's a plus.

If I remember correctly, I first read his factbooks as Crabbaia (same user, right?) and tought both nations would be the type of bland neolib electoral autocracies deomocracies that make up the most of NS. Well, I guess i was wrong, since they have actually genuine hybrid pseudo-democratic systems with some weird takes, like the MGTOW thing, thrown in.

The name "Horde of One" and the text in the sig kinda gave away the feeling that "this must be a hivemind" and it is. I love the use of narratives present in your factbooks as well as the general aesthetics.

The Oracle's character is quite fascinating. I dig the concept of an entity that seeks the near-infinite knowledge of the universe and essentially lives for more and more power. My brain does not compute sci-fi/futuristic themes that well, but I think understand what I am seeing so far and like it.
