War RPs playing out with WWII tactics, from infantry battles to aircraft to naval combat. Especially naval combat.

When "Modern Warfare 3" features a D-Day style opposed amphibious landing, something that hasn't happened on that scale since the Korean War, it's not surprising that mainstream ideas of 21st century warfare are skewed.

This is why Past Tech is the superior era of RP, and yet tragically under-appreciated.

This was originally a trope online, but over time it became so over-used that it's a cliche; it's opposite still remains a trope. It's a situation.
''now it's OOC, now it's srs bro'', implicitly or explicitly. Basically, ''It's OOC so I'm serious I'm a serious guy IRL bro you went too far''. This cringe has subcategories within it which are also cliches, such as but not all;

• I play an 'evil' or antagonistic country and I have heel-turned very suddenly and over a small thing. (along with being bs, it's a sin against fourth wall breaks).
• HELLO ARE WE DISCUSSING SOMETHING CONTROVERSIAL? OH WELL I WRITE IN ALL CAPS NOW TO POTENTIATE HOW SRS IT IS.
• I'm usually hyperactive but I lost an argument, was betrayed or whatever - Now I will be silent so people notice how upset I am and that it's SRS.
• Hey I know I usually argue that morality bad but bro you went too far..too soon bro.

So, I guess the thought it: I need social credit virtue signal approval points and I am so moral that I will throw this random person under the bus to get it. Brave.
-The mentioned ''opposite'' is where they take IC too seriously is still somehow a trope, it's not redundant or bland. To be honest, the responses of ''IC is srs'' people are amazing to read sometimes.

I honestly don't see what's so wrong with making your flag a little bit complicated and detailed. I think it's just fine to make such a flag as long as you aren't stuffing way too much stuff on them or making it so that there is way too much going on; I think that they can look quite nice when there's some complexity behind it.

Somewhat related cliche, people basing their opinion of a nation’s flag partially on the images imposed over them (like yours does). Like, if I were to rate your flag or choose between your flag and another nation’s, I’d just pretend like Assad wasn’t there and base my opinion on what it looks like in my head after that, but I’ve seen people get negative reviews on their flags just for clearly OOC meme shit and I find it endlessly frustrating

And every day you come back, it’s the same. Sometimes you get a nice bunch, but is it worth it to keep going to the same grocery store?

Maybe this site just has too many younger people on it for me, it’s boring to try to interact with other people just to have some fool spew out some garbage post right after. I guess I also just shouldn’t expect literally anything from F7, that is my fault for expecting some standard in the place for “shit posting”
