It would be a perfect 10 but the lyrics kinda ruin it for me so I'll give it an 8/10

I can picture it blasting off the trunk off a lowrider in South Central L.A. But personally I wouldn't listen to it. 4/10.

Simple, catchy, recipes for success in my book - 7.5/10.

Where was your star?
Was it far, was it far?
When did we leave?
We believed, we believed, we believed

In the heat and the rain
With whips and chains
Just to see him fly
Too many died
We build a tower of stone
With our flesh and bone
To see him fly
But we don't know why
Ooh, now where do we go

7.5/10 Wasn't expecting...a sea shanty (?) Confederate song. "Southern rights" to what tho?

I consider this catchy and upbeat.

'Ery noic/10... For the actual song, which doesn't deserve to be properly rated because I'd probably make it injustice thanks to my dislike of rap.

As for this meme reply? Some wise words from Jeremy Clarkson.

Well, the cheesiness of the lyrics is expected for an anime opening song, so I'll let it slide. The melody was good and uplifting, the piano was pretty prominent and I liked the vocal doubling used in places, reminds me of a few songs that I like. However, the guitar riffs seemed shoehorned in my opinion. Still, not one of my favorites by far, so it gets a scathing 6/10.

Listenable, but at times I just beg for it to end.

Sample of Jeff Lynne's aborted cover of "Stardust". The full song remains unreleased.

Sounds like music hall, I think. A bit melancholic though. Makes me wonder why Lynne never finished it; unrelated, but I remember reading that Laid Back never released Cocaine Cool in the 80s because they simply forgot about the recording. Anyways, it was a nice little recording.

9/10

The Stranglers - "Sweden (All Quiet on the Eastern Front)"
