I honestly have no idea. Considering they made a nation of merpeople (something I haven't seen done before) and even links to a mermaid I'd say they're a big fan of mermaids.

Considering the first instance of mermaids in myth was the Assyrian goddess Atargatis, I'll take a shot in the dark and say Hamatu likes the ancient Kingdom of Assyria.
