Maybe? Music definitely is thriving, though it isn't that commercialist. It's still quite big though.

Probably. Corea has an extensive physical fitness program focused in improving health-related fitness skills, including flexibility and body coordination.

BN's culture pushes people to have eating disorders.

Canon. Castelia doesn't exist in any world, so it just randomly appears somewhere if needed to in an RP. Otherwise, it exists in a void where it's the only nation in existence.

Edit: BN's previous leader was overthrown in a revolution.

Not canon. The previous Emperor abdicated for personal and health reasons. The previous chancellor resigned ahead of a potential vote of no confidence.

They retired peacefully, though Emperor Otto has passed away ten years and Westmark is still alive but has withdrawn from politics and lives as a private citizen and lawyer.

BN has a large international airport that is a travel hub for many lines.

We were on the side of the US during the actual Cold War. So probably not.

BN's major cities are currently undergoing gentrification.

No. We are going through a rapid shift to Arcological design, but as private property does not exist, and neither do wealthy investors, gentrification does not happen.

Canon, she's the youngest leader in Q&K's history.

Valitukalya wrote:BN's dominant religion is polytheist.

This is an extremely hard question that even I don't know the answer to. Is the majority of the population Buddhist, Atheist, or Confucian? Is Buddhism polytheist? Does it depend on the school of Buddhism? Is Buddhism even a religion? Overall I'm leaning towards not canon though.

BN has a single major city that has a long history of being a capital - see Paris, or Kiev

Canon. Both Pyeongyang and Seoul had been consistent centers of government and economy since antiquity and now functions as the economic and political capital, respectively.

BN has an electoral college to elect the head of government or utilizes the assembly-independent system:

Not really. The military is a Bureaucratically elected office, so a military leader is more likely to get punted than to punt the politicians.

Without a doubt. The ultranationalistic and rabidly totalitarian governance of the National Workers’ Party keeps it entirely shut off from the rest of the world. Being more or less a giant stratified concentration camp, the Order-State has close to no allies, and is in a perpetual state of conflict with its neighbors for one day ‘purifying’ the world.

BN’s population is enslaved.
Our History -|- The National Soviet Order-State -|- Our Ideology
The year is 2150, and much of the world is still struggling to recover from the devastation of the Third World War. Thanks to decades of warlordism, a brutal ultra-spartanist esoteric nazbol totalitarian state blending the systematic terror of the Khmer Rouge and the Nazi Death Camps controls everywhere from the Rhine to Siberia- The National Soviet Order-State. Racial theory viewing Aryans and (Russian)Slavs as ‘Pure Workers’, while everyone else in the world as subhuman, forms the backbone of society. The entire population is enslaved and starving, while in a constant state of fear due to nonstop purges. Oh and there’s Genocide.

Lots of Genocide.

It is illegal for a Valitu to be enslaved, but non-Valitu are considered slaves by default. It is therefore not entirely accurate to say that the population is enslaved, but large segments of it certainly are.

BN has had a revolution which resulted in the current political order.

Canon. The three revolutions in 1897, 1932, and 1957 had been instrumental into placing the current unitary constitutional monarchy under a multi-party parliamentary democracy, where Coreans are considered the freest citizens in Asia and Corea being the best democracy in Asia.

BN's foreign policy is controlled by the head of state, not by the head of government. In case of the same person having both powers, does the legislature have the right to annul any foreign policy decision of the leader?

The behind-the-scenes political arm wrestling between the Monarchy and the Government is complicated, but for brevity's sake, yes, Her Majesty has almost complete control over foreign policy.

BN's leader is somewhere between 20 to 40 years of age.
