Yes, not many flags use purple nor do they have the same symbols I have without it meaning something entirely different.

BN has laws banning smoking, alcohol, and other things that would be consider "sinful"?

Zig-zagged. We do have a few religious laws in place, but we do not consider smoking, alcohol, sex, or other such things to be against any of our religions (we are religiously plural). Smoking and drinking is just something everyone does, even children. Alcohol is far safer to drink than well water, after all; nobody ever caught cholera from booze. And depending on religion a person follows here, sex is either something normal and mundane, or something actually sacred to the religion itself. To the followers of Nymnixi, hedonistic sex is actually a deeply religious experience, and it is considered sacred as long as it is consensual. And the followers of Ayulorugo smoke a blend of cannabis and tobacco, believing it to give them special insights, and thus to them, that is sacred.

So what do we ban under religious law? Blasphemy, mostly.

Let this be a reminder that religions are different. Not all religions have the same beliefs and values on what is right and wrong. Chalk this up to cultural and values dissonance.

The sale and distribution of alcohol, tobacco and other substances is regulated and usage of said substances is discouraged by the English Resistance Movement, but they aren’t banned under the justification of preventing sin.
The BN is currently embroiled in fighting insurgencies abroad.

Yes, the Autonomous Nestorian Theocratic island region of Hashadooma province wants fishing rights, which is forbidden under the Federal government. Bunkaiia has three other autonomous regions which are mostly fine with the government-mandated domestic entoveganism. Two civil wars have crippled Hashadooma's economy and environment and many of them wish to supplement their diet with fish. Many fear a third civil war is around the corner.

BN has a growing vegan community.

Yes. Many Imperial citizens believe the Great Crusade can defeat 'the Enemy'. Such a notion is considered painfully idealistic by the more cynical denizens of the Milky Way.

The history of BN is so long it's early history is mostly mythological at this point
Telegram me things you want me to put in the "Codex Imperialis"
The Victoran "Empire" is a FFT Interstellar Alliance/Federation with a Roman and Gothic aesthetic that is engaged in a Great Crusade against 'the Enemy'. The setting is a horrid combination of 40k and Doctor Who. No, the Empire isn't oppressively imperialist. No, the Empire isn't British nor is it's name referencing Queen Victoria.
NS Stats are for nerds. I don't use them and neither should you (if you must, use stats as an indicator of the "average Civilized World"). With that said, according to this index, the Victoran Empire is a Tier 10, Level 8, Type 9 civilization with a Power Comparator of 3.9

Not so. The 7 tribes of Koijime were some of the first tribes in human history to record historical events through oral tradition and the written language about 3000 years ago. The Koijime groups believed in conflicting gods, which resulted in most articles written from the confederation being in the point of view of that of an atheist.

The UCBR uses the Atis United Calendar, which consists of 3 100 day months in a year. Atis also has an almost perfect 300 day long year, which prevents major changes from year to year.

BN has a country that has a corporate government, or has a government that is dominated by corporations as part of their setting.
