Somehow. However, the diet of Coreans varies by season and region. You can see more fish dishes when you're on the coasts, especially those of Hamgyeong, Gangwon, and Gyeongsang, the regions facing the East Sea (Sea of Japan) as well as in Jeju and South Jeolla.

If by "Third World" you mean Africa and South East Asia, No. Obviously the concept of "Third World" in and of itself doesn't exist either.
