It's mostly concentrated in the Northeast of the country. There used to be mining done in the Ürümmu Autonomous Region, but the regional government shut down the operations after nuclear weapons were banned in 1969. While not exactly Cthulhu-esque, it's way more common than you think. Areas with large Yokai concentrations, like New Francisca and Southland City, tend to have street vendors and Japanese restaurants ran by them. The most famous of these restaurants, Asanuma's in New Francisca, is a popular hangout for politicians, celebrities, and high-powered businessmen.

Just about anywhere. We have many famous ancient theaters and temples and palaces that are still used to today. The temple of Athene-Sophia in Constantinople is considered the most iconic landmark of the largest city, and so are the old city walls and Byzantine Circus Stadium one of the largest in the land. Rome has the Flavian Amphitheater or Colosseum, named after a large statue (Colossus) of the Goddess Sol-Celestia, and we have the Forum with the Temple of Saturn and Temple of Vesta to name a few. There's also the Pantheon temple. Tivoli gardens are famous to Rome, and so are the Trevi Fountains and Temple of Hecate and Monument to Marcus Agrippa.
