Of all the places, one can find Filipino restaurants aboard one of the Royal Navy’s 8 battlecruiser- the HMS Assimilator. Under the Assistance in Post-Service Employment program, the Navy offers some of it’s contracts to ex-service members only, with the job of operating a vessel’s galley being amongst them. In fact, most ships in the Lakan navy have galleys technically owned and operated by the ex-service members- they’re esseitlqyy partially private institutions- although the sailors themselves do not pay for their meals, the Navy pays for them, thus encouraging the owner of the galley to better up their quality of the service and the food. Aboard the Assimilator, the galley is operated by a Filipino ex-marine, who serves his favorite food from home to more than 1400 crew members aboard the ship.
