You could say peace is found in the darkness all around you as you sit in this cold, isolated, concrete room. Hour 1 passes. Pure silence. Second after second, you feel your mind slipping, itching for the noise of before it had grown accustomed to.But now that noise is gone. As soon as you were thrown violently into the room, your body making a loud lowly slam onto the stained pavement of this torture room, your mind started to go south. You would see dancing figurines, artifacts of a past long gone. As you crawl around this freezing room, you wonder if you will stay here forever. Hey, maybe you could become a bird. Your crazy self curled up in a sloppy pile of sticks and feces, your deranged self flopping around your arms thinking they're wings- But there are no sticks. There are no wings. Just you. and the darkness.

Hour 2. You're beginning to see things. Hear things. Sometimes in this overbearing solitude, you see a crack of light, glowing in it's brightness, reaching out an invisible hand to you.
But alas, it is the making of your crude imagination. You are still sitting in the dark. Isolated. Awaiting what is to come, if it won't be your head on a spear.
Time seems to make you curl up in pain, cowering to absolutely nothing at all, kneeling for the cracked roof and murmuring to whatever God is up there, as water drips down just barely next to your eyeball. If there is one at this point.
But Time and it's entirety also seems to mush itself together, running about incredibly fast, faster then the dissipating light lurking in your broken brain, something that seems to have ran out the moment you were forced into this chamber of a room, wearily waiting for your death. You cannot even miserably sigh; you're far too exhausted already. And it's only been...wait...what?

Hour 9..or hour 10? You don't know at this point. All you know is the tears running down your wet cheeks that are somehow dry like the god damn Sahara desert at the same time wont come out more for long. You're hungry. You're hungry. Your stomach cries out for mercy; but to who? Them? Who is..them? Who is anything? You try to make a mental note to not forget everything, but your mind throws the mental note out, disregarding it along with your other memories and thoughts. You as a baby, opening your eyes to the glaring light of what seemed to be the sun: Gone. Your graduation from high school: Gone. Everything, slowly fractured, as you frantically try to archive the disappearing pieces.
While you're curled up in an fetal position, wishing that someone, anyone got you out of here, you begin to think about Noahs ark. He was isolated in an boat for 40 days and 40 nights. You couldn't even make it one.
But Noah had God on his side. God seems to have turned around for you, and kicked you aside.
The door opens.
A solemn faced officer stares, baton in hand. A few more of his buddies herd behind him.
As they sprint towards you, you feel the first hard hard blow to your haRd head-!
This is your whole life, everything smashed into one execution and now, it has ended. This is how you die. At least the darkness stays. Right?
