I don't want to say they're desperate for attention to their nation because I don't think they are, but I have noticed that they have a way to subtly bump a thread if one of their posts hasn't been responded to in a while. I don't really mind though because it does keep some pretty interesting topics alive when otherwise they may have died (at least for a little while). A good example of this, the next time they post on the "your tourists review of the An" thread, don't respond and watch how many times it comes back up without anyone else posting

AN:honestly id like you to elaborate a little bit more on your lore because im having trouble telling what you are. Yes you're a dictatorship, that much is obvious to anyone who takes so much as a sideways glance at your nation. What I can't tell is if you're an over powered space empire, some sort of AI nation, or if you just exist on some sort of planet as just another dictatorship. Well at least you're not an alternate history Germany, god knows we have enough of them.

Some of the content in their Wikia (and honestly, who makes a Wikia for a Nationstates account?) are distasteful at best and to a point against the site rules. That said, the person behind the account isn't that bad, I'm sure.

Started to realise that Inktopia and Catsfern both have similar designs for their flags. Both are non human nations as well. Other then that, I love neko (or kitsune) girls due to some asmr stuff. Kinda love the flag. Great work on the wiki. Love the gun designs.

Even though I read most of their factbooks, I can't say that I really understand this nation or its concept. Its wiki page is very professional and well done, much better than anything I could do. The nation is thought out and interesting, even if it is a little hard to understand.

What don't you understand? The premise is very simple: it's like Japan if it was actually on the cutting edge of technology, and was based on a virtual singer, too.

Japan has a reputation for being fascinated by robots and hi-tech gadgets - a nation at the forefront of manufacturing innovation.

But the technological reality in many offices is strikingly different.

This is a country that uses people to do the work of traffic lights and where big-name companies running 10-year-old software is the norm.

There are even tape cassettes for sale in the ubiquitous convenience stores for office use, along with fax machines - remember them? Even tech visionaries like Sony still use a fax.

Meanwhile, Hatsunia doesn't lag behind, and is actually on the forefront of innovation.

My thoughts on AN: Huh, I remember them back from the 2017, when I was there as Xibei. Anyways, the news in [pre] tag hasn't aged that well, as most of the cool kidz nowadays either have news threads, or news factbooks/dispatches. Also, it is quite weird, that Dixie would be an anthem of a something, that apparently is a space corporatocracy (It is an unofficial one, yeah, but still...). Overall, most of their alts are either similar corporatocracies, or states with strong corporation involvement, which makes me wonder about their IRL views...

Honestly, I love the idea of the Marquisal. Although you should try to use more pictures from Francoist Spain since it would make sense that students or troops would wear Spanish styled Khaki uniforms rather then a Russian one.

My thoughts on AN: Tbh, I didn't look that much into your wiki previously, so I didn't saw those parts others were talking about first. That said, now it makes sense, why you would host your factbooks outside from NationStates... (One of my main problems with wiki is, that unlike with NS factbooks, anyone can edit it, as it is a part of the fandom.)

My thoughts on AN: Albeit I haven't seen them much in NS anymore, they still remain a quality worldbuilder, and RP. That said, they seem to be focusing on more popular places like Germany, and Japan, when it comes to the worldbuilding, and German aesthetics are kind of overdone imo.

Ah, we appear to have reached peak Wehraboo. So it's nazi germany, minus the antisemitism and with a substitute (not)hitler. Nothing particularly unique about the concept in and of itself, though the user appears to have put considerable detail into the history and internal workings of his nation, which is pretty neat. Haven't interacted much on the forums, so can't comment on the user themselves, but they seem quite amicable.

Colonial-era nations don't really interest me much, but that's probably because I'm terrible at writing them. This one has some pretty detailed history, nice lore links with quebec libre, and it's also based on the Dutch - not really something I've seen a lot of on NS. To top it all off, the user's a pretty cool guy.
