How YN Soldiers feel about fighting the AN Soldiers

"Skirmish's JERICHO Combat Drones and Latorik Infantry have resulted in mostly positive results on our side. The JERICHO's have a greater berth of accuracy, range, mobility, and coordination compared to their counterparts.

Two points of contention have however formed recently. The first point is the easiest to deal with. The standard radiation shielding that is equipped onto a majority of our JERICHO insertion teams has been proven to be insufficient for deeper strikes into enemy territory... which is worrying. I've requisitioned the Chief Enforcer for stronger shield sets and have also begun restructuring Kill Teams. As we are heading into deeper parts of enemy territory I've also begun repurposing larger general infantry units into smaller heavy weapons teams.

Heavy Mortar Teams and Plasma Cannon Teams will be prepared momentarily.

The next point of contention and the more worrying part of our conflict so far is pieces of intel that have been observed from tapping into enemy communications, not something we have completely broken but something we are making headway in at least so long as we are concerned about being subtle about it so actual information makes its way into our ears.

There has been mention of a group posthumously known as "Magi" in their communications and considering the many names psionics go by we are expecting this to possibly be the label for their Psionic Infantry. We have not actually observed any Psionic activity or Esoteric Assault but were keeping our eyes and ears open and proceeding with caution.

Now as for the fleet in space... this isn't really my department, but I've heard rumors, that the C.R.S Melas has been told to remain its normal patrol route.

The Chief Enforcer wants to make a display of strength to hopefully move things out of our jurisdiction.

After landing in the middle of some goddamn wasteland near the far north of the continent, we started to set up our fortifications things like machine guns and portable radar sensors around the drop ships with overlapping fields of fire and detection. During our fortification process one of our stations reported contacts of various sizes, the Lieutenant ordered that all squads prepare for battle. However, we where surprised to find that the Northern Aterians did not just bring armor, they also brought these things call sandworms which where nasty shits who spat acid over the place and hell they have armor plated mammoth tanks which soaked up immense damage. Along side that they had a very odd selection of vehicles and equipment, primitive things like trebuchets but more advanced things like railgun tanks. After beating back the first wave, our LT pretty much said pack the fuck up and go. After the engagement, I must say, I am both confused and impressed by all of this.

The enemy is highly immune to our usual methods, with their mutated biology giving them resistance to chemical and radiological attempts from our soldiers. Anti-Vehicle weapons (Along with mines and limited missile-detonations) will be utilized to push them back until we can begin developing anti "FEV" weaponry, whatever FEV is.

We received news of a mysterious flying object that was landing in the area. When we entered the area to find the object, we discovered a strange phenomenon was taking place in the area. The ground was shaking, and the water around us was getting thicker and thicker. We began to fight and a strange energy was emanating from the water. We were almost at the water when we found what was taking place. A being of pure virtual matter was about to bear on us like a torpedo. It grabbed us like a trophy and began to devour our souls. My mind was blank, and it devoured some of my fellow soldiers. Our hearts were with you, Joe. We would find a way to stop it from eating more of us. But not without further losses. It devours Jaya Langkir. By a small miracle, we were able to damage the thing. But it was not enough. The energy surrounding this mysterious being is getting more and more intense. It is now sucking the life from more of us. Just a few more seconds, the portal should be online. Our work would not be in vain.

AN: We saw that he Koreans were not taking retreat for a tactic. With the help of our brave soldiers, I managed to take out one of them. Unlike them, tactical retreats are part of our arsenal. We allowed them to give chase to us. Once we are in more favorable ground, they will be in a cage of death. Our soldiers have a name for this: their Last Resort Vacation.
