As Terminator IIs and IIIs work to decimate the large target, softening it up while Terminator Is grab and tear at it. It's slow work, but it's far cheaper than using a nuke.

-Then again, it's already done a number on Jaktoo, so may as well light it up with a nuclear warhead and let everyone else sort out the mess from the EMP. Fire away, my rocketeers.

While the expected damage should have been severe, given most of the energy is thrown into the ground, it's actually rather limited. Worse still, the satellite was spotted long before it even got into position, being attacked the whole way by smaller killer satellites, with the nuclear warhead being the killing blow that would finally do it in.

Alas, there is still some damage done, but not enough to warrant surrender.

We'd probably have a hard time telling the difference between magic destabalization (a naturally occurring event not worth getting worked-up about) that we've already encountered in-region and Project Poppy.

Aside from that their equipment is largely proprietary, heavy, and unsuited for sustained airmobile, amphibious, or jungle operations at the tempo upon which we've grown accustomed to, therefore it is safe to assume they'll be rolling out the nukes or some other terror-weapon in order to force a capitulation... too bad we haven't noticed anything different. We've seen their use of chemical weapons and... we were not particularly impressed. If they persist we'll just have to introduce them to project HE80*, that should keep their home-front entertained for a few years.

*Since I'm too lazy to link to a really old and probably slightly out of date factbook entry from 2006 on a forum that no longer exists via a wayback-archive... suffice to say it is a moderately contagious fungal zombie-parasite paired with some hallucinogens and immuno-suppressants so that the first victims can be initially infected by an aerosol cloud.

But yeah, HE80 is no joke when it comes to a containment breach since they actually still know how to use weapons, doors, and tactics.

Unlike the others, this building is not located on the mainland, but instead on New Roanoke Island.

It should be noted, however, that the previous occupants went quite insane, as we pulled one of them out skinny-dipping, ten kilometers out at sea, in winter. When questioned, he claimed he was "trying to get home". He had also confessed to burning down the barracks after killing everyone inside, including two marines.

"So we were doing our normal operations of taking orbital resources from our enemies then we can across a new group of orbital stations and 15 Cruisers and those Cruisers put up a good fight we lost some escorts and multiple monitors had heavy damage and all three of our battlecruisers had been damaged. Even though that happened we kept pushing on and when we landed... well we weren't originally in the first assault on the station but unlike the every other time we didn't just get the station with minimal damage we got into a stalemate and well then reinforcements were needed then they sent us as a second wave. We didn't break the stalemate and when other groups where coming to check to see whT the commotion was we were ordered to evacuate so the ships could just open fire on the stations so we could just leave since this mission did not go to plan. So we left and our ships shot at the stations to destroy them... and some of them were but we didn't get though all of them before we had to retreat so we didn't deal with other people interfering with us."

You're close enough in to PMT that you're fine doing either, really. If you go with the PMT version, I'd recommend looking at the Starwalker Tribe information. PMT Caleshan space capability is somewhat limited, but they are capable of scooting around the Earth/Moon system with relative ease and they do still have a sizeable orbital force.

On a routine counter pirate op we ran into some fellow space navy and they were far too well equipped for pirates or mercenaries.
Thankfully they contacted us before either of our battlegroups suffered any major hits and we managed to leave without escalating this into a proper battle but I could tell he was also shaken by this accidental skirmish.
