Your Leader's Personal Opinion on the AN's Leader(s) XIII

PostPosted: Thu Jan 17, 2019 10:00 pm
by Foxfound
The eighth installment of everyone's favorite AN thread, in which I hopefully beat Valentine Z to the punch!

I HIGHLY recommend that you have at least a basic informative factbook about your leader before posting here. We can't come up with much if all we have is a name. Try to respect the fact that a lot of us don't use the game's built-in statistics - 'NS stats' - as well.

If you are ninja'd - aka if someone posts while you're typing an opinion on someone else - please edit your post with an opinion on their leader as well.

If you feel that you must respond to someone's opinion on your leader, include a /skip at the end of your post to show that you aren't giving an opinion on the above nation. However, PLEASE try to keep this to a minimum. The moderators don't tend to like it when it becomes frequent, as it can disrupt the flow of the thread.

Speaking of moderators, remember that they have the power to intervene if any of us misbehave. Follow the rules of the site and of Forum 7 itself.

Also, happy somewhat late New Year, you wacky NSers, you! Also, happy somewhat early Chinese New Year, and... *checks Wikipedia* 107th anniversary of the first expedition to reach the South Pole! Three cheers for Roald Amundsen! By the way, did you know that he mysteriously disappeared during... augh, I need to shut up with my random facts.

Let the opinions begin! German Austro-Hungary was the last nation to post on the last thread, as of writing.

EDIT: Augh, I misread the page numbers on the last thread... well, this is rather embarrassing... I guess... maybe start using this thread if you want? I don't really know.

As I have iterated times and times again, I... "enormously dislike" the concept of monarch and monarchies. The Holy Emperor is slightly not the case though, as his family upbringing might make the country realize that dead people's bloodline is not all-important for governing your country. Being young *cough* is great, as you can be a reformist who eventually realize the magic of liberal capitalism and bring change.

“Oh, he basically rules the world, does he? That’s impressive. Well, let’s see. I guess- oh dear. It looks like his rule of the world is destined to end in disaster because he follows liberalism, capitalism, and democracy. It’s a shame really. He seems to hate dictatorship, too. What a waste. With that kind of power he could bring order to an entire world, but instead, he insists on allowing chaos and division to propagate. I guess it could be worse like certain people who I will not name here because I killed them, but...yeah, it’s a real shame. Oh well. When his government eventually succumbs to the problems all democracies do, maybe someone better can take control of things.”

"I'm sorry.... Supreme Overlady? There can only be one person here with the title of Supreme. And that's me! So much so, I was even made the Ultimate Supreme Leader!. But then again, you are a lady, so.... Well, never mind. Anywho, I guess I can be totally chill with you. You too are a fellow tyrant, and know too that Democracy is weak and inefficient. Plus it's boring.... I mean, I'ts so boring trying to convince a random pleb on the street to vote for you. You think they're going to vote for you, then come election day, poof they don't."
- The Ultimate Supreme Leader: Kokichi Oma

"I can attest to that. I was a victim of that some many years ago."
- The Vice President: Al Gore

"...Yeah. That hobby of yours..... forget all the bad things I've ever said about you, or was planning to say. You are totally awesome! Torturing people, and the way you torture them! I, like, do that all the time, as well. We have so much in common. We should like be best friends or something. However, I will be the more superior one, so you should follow what I say! And you better not stab me in the back! I hate betrayal.... well... only when It happens to me. I'm the one who likes to usually stab people in the back. It's so much fun."
- The Ultimate Supreme Leader: Kokichi Oma

"I can also attest to that. He said I could be President one day, only for him to say 'IT'S A LIE!... You don't know how bad that hurt me. But I threw that bad thought in my lockbox. Where all bad thoughts go."
- The Vice President: Al Gore

“The boy is an imbecile and a totalitarian dictator. Those two things combined don’t make good leadership. He should be replaced.”

"King Ornsson is an honorable man of respectable political views and adept statesmanship but ultimately, his lack of foresight and blind devotion to a religious dogma is his greatest undoing. The many repressive actions he has taken upon against Christians is no better than what the Crusaders have done to the Nordic Pagans. Co-existence between religions is desirable and state oppression only brews religious conflict and would only leave a scar between religious communities. It is a shame, this only showcases that a certain oppressed religious minority would have the ability to enact the same disgraceful methods against their former oppressors instead of working together for a common goal."

"Perhaps just what her comrades could use is a cooler head. I won't pretend that I'm in love with Ms. Blumenthal and her ideas, nor do I expect her to care for much of what we have fought to achieve in Calliana, but to claim she has not had a positive influence over her people would not be at all fair. Her heart is in the right place, even if her hand may be misguided."

His effort towards reconciliation between the peoples of his nation despite ethnicity are more than commendable. If his socialist ideology is popular among the people even more so, and it is not my place to judge what his people think is best for them. What the people will, is paramount to all else.

"Honour? Truthfulness? Just rule?... That sounds boring. It's much better if you'd lie to your people. They can't tell the difference between a truth or a lie. They're too stupid. It'll be more fun to trick your people into thinking your a all-knowing, all-powerful person. Anywho, I'll probably be negative towards you. Mostly because your opposed to State-religion and corporatism. You must embrace Haruhiism and the corporations, man!....I make a lot of money off of it."

“Ultimate Supreme Leader? What kind of...yeah, I can’t talk, can I? Well, he’s authoritarian at least. I can respect that. Does seem a little enthusiastic about torture. Now, I know how that feels. But it’s still a bit much. And he’s not superior to me. And making the population think you’re an all-powerful entity is too much like...Her...for me to be comfortable about it. He talked about betrayal earlier. I’ll tell him this now. I kill traitors. And I don’t care how many times they come back to life, because yeah, that happens to me sometimes, I’ll kill them again and again and again. I’ve dealt with enough manipulators to know not to trust this guy. I can respect some of his ideals, but we’re at odds elsewhere.”

''Well well, who we see again? Another generic internationalist, environmentalist, and democratic state? Soo cliche. *yawns* Honestly, those Germans are even worse than those in our world, as they at least have some honor left, even if that was the thing, which led to their downfall against the Bear's claws. I wonder, how sh*t world would need to go, to be practically ran by megacorps.''

"I think of the Imperator as a well-meaning man of honour. I naturally respect any man and woman who hasn’t served in the army, and Konstantyn is no different. Going from a peasant to the ruler of a powerful nation is a great feat for anyone regardless of location. I also like that liberal autocracy model of his. ”Abortion is recognized by the government to the death of its citizens. Therefore, it’s illegal depending on the case.
