You can jump to whatever anime you like, and not just within the anime world, but actually appear inside the episodes themselves. At first, it seems to go great! Any effects it would have on you yourself get wiped clean whenever you leave the anime, so even if you manage to die in the anime, you'll be just fine.
Except... since you're permanently impacting the animes, this also means that your appearance has tangential affects on the studios that produce said animes. It turns out that a random character, who abruptly appears inside animes and significantly impacts the plot, only to vanish or die soon after is... kind of memorable. Everyone notices you, Tv tropes makes a page about your various appearances, and after a certain period of time you even get an NS nation simping for you. Even if some people swear they remember a version of episodes without you in them, this is just chalked up to mandela effect or just an outright fabrication- effectively making your existence within animes into a reverse Graggle Simpson situation.
Nonetheless, there is still the question as to why you appear in SO many animes, even across studios. Noting the fact that you never appeared in any of the original manga the animes are based off of, most people chalk your existence up as some inside joke between the studios. A joke which people soon grow "tired of". And yet despite this, no anime writer can avoid using you, almost as though they are transfixed to do so. Eventually, one anime studio gets the bright idea to "copyright" your existence. It succeeds, and they manage to sue all the other companies into oblivion, resulting in a virtual monopoly for that one company.
Your wish singlehandedly halts the growing acceptance for anime within the western world, instead reversing it, as Japanese citizens grow increasingly fond of western animated media, which has much more variety compared to the anime monopoly and is notable for not having you it. Within time, "anime" as an art form gradually ceases to exist, and your power is no more.
