Granted. But if it wasn't a wish, then was it really granted?

I wish to become immortal, while still retaining the physical qualities of an adult, once I reach that stage of life. Can't possibly go wrong with that.

Granted, his early modern english is very hard to understand. Also he has trouble understanding your late modern english. What conversation you do have ends up with you answering questions about your life that you don't learn anything new about Shakespeare, besides the way his voice sounds I suppose, and I guess his brunch food choices.

Granted. Now everyone starts flying kites in public places. Eventually, the sky becomes so cluttered with kites that planes are unable to take off or land, and London's administration is condemned for lifting the ban. Political chaos ensues.

Granted! Not the best tensing though. You now have memories you hate, having been in a relationship with a very abusive partner. It's left scars on your psyche, and it's tough to live with.

I wish I could animate as skillfully as the best animator at Pixar.

Granted. You end up creating an animated film with spectacular animation and visuals, but since you were assigned to work with a team of goofballs, it is nullified by an incoherent plot and hilariously bad voice acting.
