He didn't have much to say which almost made him laugh, but hearing Fox's distraught state.

"Seems like quite the situation."
Altares's grits his teeth.
"If you don't mind me asking, how did you escape? From first glance I took you as an escaped subject of some sort. But how did you make it to this place?"

Fox shrugs. "I was getting used as a test subject when there was a power outage, so I left the experiment and just kept running. After that, all I remember is waking up in a white hallway, hearing the scientist yelling, and when I turned around, I could see it- but then it disappeared and turned into a wall. then, I woke up in front of that door." She gestures to the entrance, then takes her last two lattes and downs them.

[Low bloods]

"It?" He seemed curious. "A situation that has occurred with someone I know. They didn't chip you or anything? For us they put chips in so they knew where we were. It was to prevent one of us from deserting and abusing the gift given to us, but also because we were valued assets."
He nods, understanding the situation she might be in. He seemed a little worried for her.
"Also, you used a word skulk, I'm not to sure I get what you mean?"

Fox seems a little embarassed."Sorry. A skulk is a group of foxes. and as for the chipping..." her face darkens. "Crap. Is there a surgeon here or something?"

"I can handle that. This avatar is completely customizable down to the atom, so I should be able to take it out..."

He peered around to the back of the girl's neck, and tapped on a spot behind her jaw on her left.

"I've detected a foreign metal object right here. I would just like to make sure that you are fine with me taking it out right now. It is a quick and painless procedure, but it may feel a bit strange."

She nods."okay. but... I, um, think that there's a failsafe on it. That bot took no chances!"

"A failsafe as in it explodes or injects poison in you? Ehh maybe we better not to until we get a better understanding. But it makes you wonder how you manages to get this far, you haven't ran into any troubles?"

"yeah, I.. have no idea how I'm not dead. I guess I'm just lucky. and... yeah. it injects poison."

"also, because i've got fox DNA, I can also do this" Fox takes a deep breath, and makes a high-pitched screech. as she does, you notice her face elongating and changing, soon, she has the face of a snow fox.

He nods as he knows some that are more beast than man.

"But like Oni has showed during his rule, our kind can be vary flexible and owning bit of dexterity.

He showed off his greatsword sheathed on his back.

Ernest leaned back in his stool, holding his glass.

"I'll keep an eye on the chip, but I'd rather you stay safe. Perhaps I can try to find a fast-acting antidote for the poison, but it will take quite a while."

Fox's face turns back, and she tilts her head. "who's oni?"

"Heh, thank you for your compliment." The knight smiles sheepishly to the comment. "I am his disciple after all." Altares sighed and and answers Fox.

"Well Oni is a former King of corpses, kind of like a ruler or a king to our lands. He was a tough one even till his death. He was the first of my kind to take the kings throne. Now there's a different ruler but Oni left a legacy after his fall."

"wow. I wonder what it's like to have a government."

[Orifna]

Orifnaball proceeds to roll in.


"Hey, wait, this is the wrong universe.. shoot."

"wow. I wonder what it's like to have a government."

"Perhaps once you rid yourself of those pesky trash cans your people can form one. Or perhaps an uprising will happen.
Worst outcome is the shadow government seeking to cure the disease comes through and opresses your people with a weapon iced disease to back them up...
I've seen a little too much in my time." He laughed and recalled the vast events of his life.
"Perhaps in time you will receive an answer I mean he'll you could just hide out in another nation till your problems are solved."

Orifnaball proceeds to roll in.


"Hey, wait, this is the wrong universe.. shoot."

"Happens all the time, traveler." Vixen nods from behind the bar counter. "This place is the hole in the wall that is open to most. Need a drink?"

Orifnaball rolls up to the table before trying to get onto a stool


"Hm, guess I can stay here."

[Low bloods]

"I'll have something right up for you." He turns around and and asks "Anything you want in particular?"

[Orifna]

Orifnaball finally gets on the stool


"Groans Ah, sure, I'll get any drink that fills something for my size up. Like a countryball."

[Low bloods]

"Some scotch Otta do the trick." He poured a tall shot glass of something strong and slides it his way

"Totally. I've had Scotch before, it's gotten me drunk a good few times."


Orifnaball's eyes proceed to comically rotate around his sphere 5 times

"here it is the basics but I mean, if it works and it isn't half bad then why not." Vixen nods as he filled the knights flask, turning back to face the sphere.

"You miss shot when traveling the multiverse and landed here, where were you aiming before hand? I'm just a little curious."

[Tuboo Shippers]

Fox watches this strange entity with shock. "e-edentate? Is that... Edentate is that you?!" She's crying now. "B-but I saw you die!"

[Low bloods]

Vixen tilts his head and looks at Altares and Ernest "Don't go making girls cry, you two."

The knight was stumped as to who she was referring to but looks at Ernest in hopes of his calming aura.

"Edentate...from what I have of my database I know that this is a certain classification of mammals."

He turned to Vixen, quietly asking for a glass of cold water. When he received it, he gently lifted it to Fox's mouth.

"Here, drink up. You probably shouldn't cry on empty tear ducts."

Ernest usually wasn't the type to take a comforting role. He led a vast inter-universal empire dedicated to assimilating the minds of organisms into a massive network. But so far, he was doing well. His face now wore a genuine but understanding smile as he comforted the young vulpine hybrid.
