What's the distinguishing/unique feature of AN or its User?

To have a main nation called "Random Nation 2930" with no real factbooks and a default flag while also maintaining several puppets with somewhat extensive lore is very unique.

I think Broader Confederate States is one of the few Confederate-based nations that has effortful lore and posts, while also not adhering to the (stereo?)typical beliefs of Confederates. Also, not really a summie nor an asshole like some other Confederate nations.

I guess it would be that they are a North Atlantic Island, but (as far as I can tell) are not based off of Greenland or Iceland.

A fully self-aware utopia is certainly pleasing to see. Lots of people just make nations that fully conform to their views and act like they’re fully and completely realistic. Lilguay knows it’s fictional and runs with it.

I dont know why, but their flag is forever ingrained in my head. Now everytime i see blue and white stripes I just recall Frisemark. Truly memorable.

They’re amongst the few “gameplayers” (raiding and defending) with many experience present on the F7, which is a unique characteristics on it’s own, considering that there are next to no folks interested in this here

For me, Laka is, in my first sight, that type of 'your average absolute monarchy'. However, I like how they described detailedly on the current queen's life, and it somewhat tells me that she is worthy to be a queen of a nation. Though, I am interested to see more things on her political life.

How... cohesive and long-lasting the Alastair narrative has been. I've been really enjoying it so far, and would love to see it keep going, it's one of the most compelling stories on this entire website. Also, how long they've been here without leaving, which is something that seems fairly rare considering how few recognizable faces still come here.

They have composed a national anthem, or at least composed the lyrics (which are fire) and uploaded a video of the music. I see a lot of nations who either use a real song for their anthem, only have a name for their anthem (me, so far), or don't have an anthem at all. Plus, they somehow sang or got someone to sing PAS's anthem, and that is the only original anthem on NS that I have heard sang.

Also, making a full factbook which is basically one big meme goldmine is pretty commendable for my point of view.

In terms of "distinguishing" I've always thought it unique and cool that Waisnor went into depth with their country's football league performance and Eurovision placement. It isn't something you really see, it at all.

Hardcore environmentalist nations are pretty much unheard of on NS outside of some short-lived gimmick nation. Red Lake is something very interesting and unique among a tide of mostly pretty same-y nations.

Frisemark is one of the more unique nations I've seen on NationStates, from their Factbook to their dispatches, I'm always intrigued by them, and I think they not only write and detail their nation very well, but they just seem like a really cool user in general

The fact that even though their posts and factbooks seem rather effortless, their cuisine factbook seems quite interesting and, even though it needs some improvement, unique as many nations don't have a culinary factbook.
