Posting this one more time before I start using another fact

Upon entering the Great War, the British Empire's primary objective was to seize Dunkirk and the ports of Wallonia and use them to transport around 3,000,000 troops through the Channel. It was only a stroke of luck that the Majority of the North German Qingdao Fleet had dropped anchor in France's ports after bringing back the bulk of North Germany's garrison from the recently-returned Shandong. France told North Germany that if Britain could achieve naval dominance in the Channel this early, the war would be over in a month, and so the Qingdao Fleet and the Homefleet moved into the channel and helped France battle Britain. Once they realized they had no hopes of achieving dominance in the next two weeks, Britain tried to move around them and make landing in France's Southern coasts. It was at this time that the Naval part of the Great War reached its peak.

France, knowing that if Britain could move even one ship through Gibraltar, it would have supremacy in the Mediterranean, used almost every resource it had to block the strait, causing something close to a naval "trench warfare" where five entire British and French fleets were laid to waste before Britain decided it was simply not worth it. So now, Britain decided to move *around* Africa and come through Suez (Which they controlled without a single doubt). North German "Crown Prince's Fleet", stationed in Schwarzpunkt and Luderitz, and later the North German "Mittelafrikan Fleet" stationed in Freienhaus, tried as much as they could to stop the British from moving their troops and their navy, and later the Italians tried (to no avail) to block Britain from moving through Djibouti. By the time Britain had arrived to Suez (early September 1908), the Great Front had been established between France, Habsburg, and North Germany, and so Britain couldn't afford to open a new front, therefore they were forced to, instead, move their troops to Trent (crushing the last vestiges of the Italian Navy which had put Illyria and South Germany in a blockade) and land about 3,000,000 of their original 4,500,000 expeditionary force, which moved to reinforce the South Germans in the trenches, primarily in Palatinate, Baden, and Bavaria.

Europe can be a very delicate location for war. Tight spots like the Strait of Gibraltar and the English Channel can be pretty critical to one's dominance. I guess it's the naval and aerial dominance that really sets the score, huh?

Trees are an important aspect of Faceless society, and an icon of our homeworld. Our planet's dense atmosphere and low gravity allows the tallest species to congregate in large clusters, where they can sometimes grow up to a kilometer high (colloquially known as "mega-forests"), possessing sub-climates in different layers of the canopy. Our homeworld lacks the humidity and heat to be considered a traditional "jungle planet," and is instead simply often identified as a "forest world."

The lumber market of the YC is fueled by their existence, where it thrives relatively well in the galactic economy. Visitors and native citizens alike have a habit of climbing into the upper tree levels and holding raves in self-built tree-villages.

The area was frequented by kobold tribes, and the pixies were hunted to extinction, due to the kobold belief that consuming pixies can grant certain attributes. The largest denomination of Christianity in Wyesburgh is Catholicism. As of right now, Grand Prince Freman has started to research more into Christianity, its history and theology in order to get a better understanding of the religion. Whilst highly unlikely, it isn’t impossible that Freman could become Christian following these studies.

In the Known Galaxy, the Technocracy & Zirmans are actually the two least evil nations even though both are still very bad compared to irl.

Then there's genetically warping fit prisoners into a bio-monster thing of war. All in the preservation of humanity. If you're not a Defective, you're taken care of as we want you to innovate, produce art, etc. Leave manual work to automation, you work in Service/Research for 30 hours a week then pursue your dreams, or your dreams are included in your 30 hours. Currencyless society but is replaced with a Social Credit system.

Zirma - Militaristic space democracy, they kill off their disabled because they're unable to defend Democracy, and their wounded will be seen as a drain to defending the light of liberty and are thus "synthesized", or, having their entire biology converted into data for simulation testing for new recruits.

Xa'lototh - Militaristic Matriarchy where men, who were the hunters, evolved into being brutes who are more crafty whereas the women, who raised children and thus took on administrative positions in early history, became the 'thinkers', this led to a society where Women rule, Men fight for their Matriarch type of society. All must be sacrificed for the Matriarch, dishonor is death! Equality would harm the social order.

Then there's a MegaCorp pretending to be a country, another Technocracy that runs like Brave New World (genetically engineering citizens to have a certain psychology to fit into a caste system), a hyper religious society with an Inquisitionesque government, etc

At least under both Zirma and Soleos, you have a chance to live chainless.

Well, we have a capable industry and relatively few imports.

We mainly import raw metals from nearby countries with which we have a good trade relationship (raw materials are relatively cheap) and automobiles (mainly from Sweden, which is nearby, and very few people have automobiles, so we don’t import that many). We also produce all of our energy and do so from clean, renewable sources, which means no imports and no cleanup expenses. Our education system means we have negligible crime, so our judicial spending is equally negligible. Oh, and we have zero military spending because we have no military.

We have no need to import food because we produce all our food ourselves, and the instant availability of food and organs has drastically reduced our spending in areas such as healthcare and medical research (without the healthcare service and the research themselves suffering) and completely removed our spending on agriculture and on food commerce. Due to the programming and software it was necessary to develop in order to complete and launch the VitroGrow project, our information technology industry grew considerably, and these days we export a lot of software and hardware similar to those employed in VitroGrow, which is our main source of international income. So VitroGrow was actually an enormous investment which has more than paid for itself, not to mention the social benefits it has had.

The particle accelerator and the mission to Mars are recent investments, and we hope they will end up paying for themselves. I guess that's fair enough, especially with Zirma - messed up as it is still.

In this Germany, the death penalty is actively applied. It can only be delivered on mass murderers, prolific war criminals and the like. The conditions of qualifying for a death penalty are much simpler for somebody in active military service, and there are strict time limits on appeal procedures and filing. So far, nobody has stayed on death row for over nine years, and that was one exceptional case.

Once appeals are exhausted, nobody lasts more than a month due to the extremely simple methods involved: Namely, various methods of decapitation. The sanctioned ones are the execution sword (double-sided, flat-tipped weighted longsword) and guillotine.

There is a special branch of the Atramento Cephalopodae (Aka, the Inklings) denominated the Magi Cephalopodae that have up to 60% more speed and 80% more strength than normal Inklings. It is believed that 0.3% of Inklings are Magi Cephalpodaes. The most recognizable ones is Queen Surume.

Russians aren't exactly the most, er, developed of the European powers; it's better to be Turkish during the Ottoman's declining days, or Spanish than Russian at any given moment in history. It's just depressing given how their politics work.

Because of genetic engineering, Humans have a metabolism to where, even if you lift weights 3 days a week and the in-between days are just cardio, you can eat Korean BBQ AYCE or AYCE Shabu Shabu/Chinese or Indian buffet and still not gain much body fat. If you don't exercise, you simply won't build muscles, but not get fat.

This isn't because the Technocracy wants its population to have such a fast metabolism, but it's actually catering to East Asian hypocrisy:
Go to a Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, or Thai household and say you're full. The grandma/mother would kill you for not eating. But if you do eat, they'll complain about you being fat and to stop eating. But if you lost a single kg from dieting, they'll scream about how you're so skinny and starving, thus, you must eat. And no matter what side of the hypocrisy said East Asian is in, you're still expected to eat a lot, and empty bowls will be quickly refilled with rice and plates refilled with pickled vegetables. How CAN the Chinese-dominated Humanity resolve this neverending pattern?

Engineer fetuses to digest food and absorb macro nutrients at optimal capacity, all while flushing out anything that can be turned into a health issue like high cholesterol levels, artery clogging, etc. Instead of those, you just feel a slight pain, that's your body's digestive system cleaning out all the junk that would've given you a stroke or heart attack, or a path towards obesity. This enables you to at least be at some level of physical fitness, a compromise between the "Fat eat less" and "skinny eat more" dichotomy of Asian moms. Asian culture is very hostile to obesity, and this held a strong effect on Human society post-World War III. Unfortunately, a good 19 million Humans died in horrible experiments centuries ago just to find a way to optimize the Human digestive system. Despite the faster metabolism, Humans don't get hungry as often as IRL, a side effect that must be monitored lest their watered down feeling of hunger could prove bad that they keep forgetting to get their daily nutrition.

You killed 19 million in experiments to appease grandmothers instead of just having simple rationing? How foolish. How did you kill 19 million anyway? Do you just do all your experiments on humans instead of the much more efficient way of animal testing then human?

The Swarm's hives are very densely populated. The average drone lives in a bunk room shared with about 50 other drones. Everything is communal, baths, kitchen, ect. Privacy is something that just doesn't exist for the average drone. Privacy only exists if you in an underpopulated area like a newly established hive or a section of the hive that had just suffered a disaster or if you're important to the Swarm's hierarchy. Every queen and drones that handle sensitive information get their own rooms so they can review information without being disturbed and to make spying harder. More important queens can get an entire hive floor for private use, while some of the most important queens like hive queens and the swarm queen get almost an entire hive spire for their private use.

Cheeky Romania.

The Vespertian Constabulary Force uses tanks from the 1106-1114 (1938-1946) Lupo-Vespertian War. The tanks are all of one model, and are comparable to the M4 Sherman or the T-34, being armed with a 76 mm gun and having similar armour thickness. Most tanks had their steel tracks replaced with rubber tracks.

These tanks are used sparingly.

This all feels like a love triangle, except that this is a war triangle. Poland refused, Russia thought about war, then US threatened with war if Polish neutrality was threatened. As for the South Germany and its allies... I suppose that geography can be a problem, and with that geographical disadvantage, they will really need to step up their game in defense. Or go offensive a lot faster.

King Leopoldo I of Peru declared war on the then Confederation of the Inklings. Peru had the upper hand at first, but started to get pushed back when Simona Ito's mandate started. After a lot of years of war, Peru surrendered to the Inkling forces. Confiscated letters of King Leopoldo stated that he had wishes on [i'd probably get banned for this]-ing Inkling women before smashing their skulls in. He also stated in this letter that he wanted to genocide Inklings.

However, the losses for the Aisionic Armada were crippling, which was one of the reasons the Rational Republic remained neutral in WW I.

Good thing they did. WW1 didn't end that well for anyone involved.

While Rhunnland's official and most popular language is German, it is unknown where the name came from as there are no historical evidence of a region called "Germany" or people called "Germans."
