Interesting enough, Pilarcraft has yet to do anything military in Earth. The Majority of Middle East's unstability has been overcome with the establishement of Greater Persian Union, and while there is a good target in North Korea, Pilarcraft's Council of Ambassadors has yet to officially declare a stance on this rogue nation. mostly because there is another threat closer to home.

Although LGBT aren't officially discrimined, their problems are usually dismissed as "unimportant", because they are a minority, and society in general is very conservative and traditional. Also, most of people are too hungry, to care about those issues.

While the Fogwoods is a considerably "new" faction in the world, there are very few willing to try and absorb it into their own civilizations through conquest - past the low visibility and rhe rather hard-to-traverse terrain, the Fogwood's wilderness is home to several violent and considerably douchebagish types of elementals, fiends, wendigos, and all sorts of nasty stuff. In Fausenheldt, every citizen has a program chip implanted in them, and they decide what they would like to be skilled in. For instance, if a soldier wanted to be an expert marksman, all he would have to do is consult a government official and undergo surgery. Criminals however have their memory erased and function merely as hard labor until their sentence is completed, where their memories are restored up until before the crime they committed, to ensure it doesn't happen again.

An honestly disgusting policy, and one we most certainly will not emulate.

English children are taught to have utmost manners and discipline. This is enforced via a middle way between authoritative parenting and lenient parenting. Manners are what is taught to infants and primary school students prior to mathematics or any other knowledge.
There are incentives for good behaviour, such as more free time to read or possibly some one-to-one teaching with their teacher. Independent- or rebellious-natured children are frowned upon, even alienated at times.

I mostly agree with that, but punishing independent-natured children doesn't sound good to me.

There are strict dress codes for people- Farmers must look like a typical Southern farmer in 50s, soldiers must look similar to ww2 ones, workers must wear their working uniform in most of time, etc. Codes are a bit different for both genders. Also, although clothes usually can be used by multiple generations, they are usually bland, lack individuality, and aren't really comfortable either.

That's very absurd and unfair.

Most Toraians don’t know a second language, but almost all of them can use sign language (mind that some gestures mean different things in Toraia than other parts of the world, though.) It was made a part of the public school curriculum when the nation had a deaf prime minister in the 1840s, and no-one saw any need to take it off thereafter. Toraians use sign language to communicate when they need to be quiet, and some use it when they’re simply bored of speaking.
