Despite her nature, the Lady Protector is exceptionally prone to behavioural abnormalities, sociopathic tendencies, and personality disorders. Liliya's parents may have designed her to be physically and genetically "perfect", but it is impossible for such genetic modification to prevent mental issues that arise from external factors, such as the environment, past experiences, and emotional and physical trauma. Liliya has had therapy to treat her mental issues throughout her life, and with regards to the depression that she experienced in her earlier years, this treatment is considered to be successful. However, she is far from cured of all mental issues, as a number of other disorders still lurk within her mind, albeit now buried beneath many layers of therapy sessions and suppressed by medication. Her therapists have observed that after her depression had been eliminated, Liliya instead started to develop sociopathic tendencies and personality disorders that had progressively worsened, and this coupled with the abilities granted to her by her psionic awakening could lead to a potentially dangerous situation. Liliya possesses symptoms that have led to her being diagnosed with varying levels of borderline, histrionic, narcissistic, and sadistic personality disorders. As such, she has become unpredictable and manipulative, she fears abandonment and isolation above all else, has an overactive sex drive, is excessively seductive and craves constant sexual gratification, is egotistical, insouciant, and vain, can be needlessly cruel, is liable to sudden outbursts of rage, and derives satisfaction and pleasure from dominating and intimidating others. Liliya's mental state may be far from cured of these issues, if such a thing is even possible for a complex mind such as hers, but Athralian medicine keeps her stable. Outside of her therapy sessions, one would not even be able to tell that she had such issues to begin with. Nevertheless, she is being constantly monitored by an advanced medical AI, and understandably, Liliya wishes to keep this personal information away from the public sphere and from anyone outside of her sessions. Not even her mothers are aware of the extent of her issues.

"Poor girl. At least she's getting the help she needs with her problems."

Leothycides and Tiva once managed to have one child when she was 17, named Oskopos, but this child was born incredibly deformed below the waist and with several odd grooves in his skull, and seeing as she wouldn't want an heir that was disabled beyond being suitable to rule, Tiva later killed her newborn son around a day later by grabbing a chair leg as it was waking up and bludgeoning it to death, then dumping the body by throwing it off the Aiy Napos cliff. It was a decision she had truly regretted afterwards as she then broke down into tears, coldly murdering her first born child because of regal concerns, but Leotychides had quickly comforted her on the situation, reportedly saying "If there is a faulty lamp in the forest, it was best you put the light out before it could become a wildfire."

But we still retain all that despite all the Hellenic influence, as well a beautiful and strong queen who rules in a benevolent manner.

New transeurasian Mass Transit is very efficient, though crowded. Moscow is the largest city in the world at 353 million people living in the Moscow district. There are over 120 railway lines operating in the Moscow District. This excludes monorails, maglevs, trams/light rail, BRT, and industrial branches. A regular commuter train carries about 1,440 passengers with 24 cars, with about 60 people per train car. There are over 200 bus lines operating in Moscow, including trolleybuses. There are actual commuter airlines in Miscow, which carry passengers from and airport in one neighborhood, to another airport in a different neighborhood, or to one of the 5 major international airports serving moscow. NTŽD, the national rail operator, competes with other companies across New Transeurasia, mostly in cities against other rail lines, though occasionally intercity and even high-speed. There are a total of 172 rail operators all across New transeurasia.

Tickling in stocks was a surprisingly common method of getting people to talk in Sioperon, with a variety of methods being used. Feathers, insects, brushes, being licked by horses, cats and mice were all methods used in this form of punishment, the thing usually lasting for 3.5 hours. if the offender was trialed for a minor misdeed; perhaps it was playing a harmless prank on the Queen, or not wanting to pay to replace an inexpensive item, or perhaps it's just interrogation. More violent methods could be used later on for more serious offenders, some involving bullet ants, being forcibly dehydrated in the sun or being raped by elephants.

That’s incredibly unorthodox and does not fit the setting. Your smut and fetishes are plainly obvious.
There have been three “Great Wars” in our world’s history. The First Great War was much the same as in our timeline, the Second was against a rejuvenated Germany, and the third was against Russia.

The three Great Wars saw a great amount of border and demographic changes. Königsberg was annexed by a united Baltic state; Murmansk, Karelia and Ingria were annexed by Finland, and Ukraina & Byelorussia became puppet states of the west and barriers separating the Russians from Europa. To this day, Russia remains in a terrible condition thanks to long-lasting treaties, military restrictions, political oversight and cultural changes encouraged by the West.

That sounds nice, and what a government is meant to do. So good on you.

The Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia (SUSR) in the past has been known for its unfair trade agreements between themselves and their neighbors, in the process turning them into a local superpower in eastern europe and creating a sour relationship between them and the Socialist Republic of Albania. However, today the current President of Yugoslavia, Cornelia Tanase, has pledged to rebuild their relationship and promote the idea of "win-win cooperation", and since entering office she has managed to fix their relationship with both Albania and Orykovo.

Trade deals tend to get nasty. Perhaps arbitration from the General-Secretary could help.

In Knessniet, all criminals facing the death penalty are executed on the Thursday after their sentencing. This is to ensure those who wish to view the public hangings can plan to be present. Executions are kept very public to set and example, and follow a very particular uniform format.

It starts when the day's convicts are led to the gallows in chains, then they are placed upon the gallows where the noose is secured around their neck. Once all inmates are secured, the executioner starts at the leftmost convict, where he reads the name of the person and their crime. Then, he releases the trapdoor to perform the long-drop hanging. This is repeated until all convicts are executed, and then their cells are cleaned out to make room for next week's batch.

How disturbing and outdated. I can’t say I approve.
Unlike in the AN, executions are never public affairs. They’re always done in private with a select few individuals, including one or two medical personnel.

Military offenders are executed by firing squad. They’re blindfolded, and tied to a pole in a small, special courtyard and are executed professionally by hardened officers.
Non-military offenders are executed by lethal injection, and it is always overseen by at least three medical professionals and two other persons. The offender is strapped to a chair in a concrete and bare room, where they are swiftly and humanely executed on the word of the legal overseer.

Despite its era and its extraordinary wealth, Veise isn't much of a colonial empire. It is rather large but most of its wealth is through trade and an absurd level of industrial capacity. Its small empire does, however, control several of the most valuable regions of its world, ie. a canal that basically runs the entirety of the planet's trade.

Kinda like us.

The Royal Palace, Parliament, the headquarters of the ministries and many major airports and seaports have sniper nests on them, similar to the one during the Super Bowl. They are all manned by Gendarmerie snipers, with the exception of the Ministry of Defence headquarters, which are manned by Army snipers.
Uses certain NS stats.

Atlantis is an MT nation that is the third richest country in the world, behind only China and the United States. It is closer to the USA, UK, Italy and Spain (in that order, though Italy and Spain is probably tied) culturally than it is Greece. It is also a naval power.

And no, Atlantis is not underwater: It has a land area around the size of France.

Pros: Classical liberalism, democracy, the West, Brexit, Viktor Orban, free education, strong military
Cons: Authoritarianism, fascism, communism, multiculturalism, Islamism

I'm betting whatever this 'brainwash' is, it's probably something comparable to psychedelic rock, dubstep and noise music.

Tiva's affliction to mainland Greek culture, especially the Spartans, has often been compared to modern-day weeaboos in Japan; it was 'nearly a fetish to her, the Spartan way', her father had said. Being nationalistic, he initially did not approve of her daughter's nearly unhealthy obsession with Greek manners, but he soon had relaxed a bit after Tiva reportedly told him that "The way Alexander had Hellenified our culture, we're practically one and the same with the Greeks anywhom."
Current year: 170 B.C.

Once upon a time, in the modern day island of Cyprus and a few islands on the Agean sea, there lived a kingdom with its' own unique ways of life in military, history, culture, race and language... which was temporarily done in several times by Alexander the Great, the Ptolemaic immigrants and also the following Spartan, Athenian and Celtic migrants. Similar to the medieval Palestinian influence on Saranidia then.

Sharia’h is anything but desirable for women. I personally believe people should be free to wear what they wish within reason, but Sharia’h has no place within society. Besides, women are just as free in defending themselves as men. When will you create something dedicated to defending men’s rights?

That's gotta receive a good bit of opposition from the religious folks in the country. After all, now they have to donate more to cover the tax bill.

In Knessniet, it is common to use the inside cover of a Bible to record important information, as the destruction of a Bible carries a mandatory sentence of 20 lashes from the cat publically. Thus, the information is safe as long as you padlock the book shut, which is a common feature on Knessian bibles for this exact purpose. However, it would constitute destruction if you wrote in the actual pages, so some publishers even throw in an extra few pages labeled "Notes".

If a Bible is in need of retiring, it must be turned into your local Knessian Baptist Church so the priest can whitewash your notes out of it, do some refurbishing, and then donate it to the poor.

While we applaud the efforts of clergy to maintain the good condition of bibles, we do find the punishments quite severe.

———

Welskerland abolished marriage in 2017 over the same sex marriage debate. Due to a majority of the population being religious, there were some qualms about letting homosexuals marry each other. Eventually, they conceded that they had no compelling reasons to oppose LGBTs from having all the same rights as them from marriage, but just didn’t want to call their relationships marriages. As a solution, the government “abolished” marriage and renamed it to a civil union, which can is between two consenting adults regardless of sex, so a man and woman are considered to be a part of a civil union just like same sex couples.
Embassy Program

This nation does reflect my IRL views unless something is more interesting to differ from what I believe otherwise. For example, Welskerland is a constitutional monarchy, while I prefer a republic IRL.

"Such an ability surely helps in situations, where reaction speed is important, or help to coordinate many different things in a short timespan. Also, may be useful for taking a time out in stressful situatiopn, where there is almost no time to stop and rest."

In the 20th century, Enthorea had an extremely developed, sophisticated, unique culture and great progress in science. It was one of the intellectual powerhouses, before president Edgar came to power and proclaimed himself a "Vicarius Dei", and together with his corrupt friends started his oppressive theocratic regime, supported by Catholic church.

Many priceless pieces of culture were lost, books and painting were burned as unholy, and many artists either escaped or were executed. Science suffered the same fate, although, it was only partially damaged, as certain technologies could benefit the regime. Outside culture was heavily restricted and censored.

However, after 15 years, people revolted and overthrew the tyranny. When the things started to settle, so little left from the former country before Edgar, that even culture was beyond recovery. 15 Years of tyranny and violent civil war are merciless...

Thankfully, most vital technologies survived, and finnances taken from former elites were abundant, so we could start to build a new nation right away. The old name was abandoned, as Enthorea was deemed dead, and that's how Skyhooked was born.

That also explains, why our culture is slightly archaic and imported so many things. So, Skyhooked is a bit postapocalyptic.

I’m pretty sure it takes a lot more than 15 years to destroy a culture. What you described was high culture, but the original culture remained alive nonetheless.
Upon being elected into the Federal Council, a person must step down as the leader of their party and leave the party as a whole. This was done in order to prevent party loyalties getting in the way of policy and executive decisions.
