I’m not really the biggest fan of werewolves. And that vampire ‘true form’ thing reminds me of Dance in the Vampire Bund.

There is no political party in the Kozavian Empire, only factions inside the court. This means... uhh... technically all politicians are independent, but practically people in the faction support each other.

Very few people in Robosia live outside of the cities. If you’re driving through the countryside, you’re unlikely to find anything other than ice, rocks, and the occasional roadside motel.

Well, I’d be wary of Knessniet were I you. Such backwards countries can never be trusted.

Prior to becoming a single federal state, what is now Altamarne consisted of seven sovereign but allied republics. They were called the “United Republics”, and their borders have barely at all changed since unification.

There have been ideas for an economic, political, and military union in Europe since early 1800s (when the Holy Roman Empire was destroyed by Napoleon). The very first attempt to realise this was done by the German Empire five weeks after the first world war ended. The Germans formed a "Mitteleuropa" and forced their vassals, puppets, and allies into stringing along in order to "help rebuild the wanton destruction this war has forced on us". Of course, given the chaotic nature of the interwar period, Mitteleuropa was as successful in its attempts as the League of Sovereigns, and both were abolished by 1936. The second attempt to do this was forming a European Customs Union, which was done two weeks after the formation of the World Assembly after the second world war. The Customs union had members from all over Europe, but the French Commune(which was, even then, an economic powerhouse with extensive colonial- er I mean oversees- territories) refused to join it on the accounts it was "a bourgeoisie attempt to destroy the will of its workers". The negotiations to placate France and getting it to join in the EU took about 20 years, and by that time France was no longer an economic powerhouse.
