There exists a stereotype in foreign media that Toraians love peaches, which is probably because peach pie is such a popular dessert in the nation. Incidentally, the current PM of Toraia hates the fruit with a passion. She finds the stereotype rather annoying.

But peach is great... :( Whyyyyyyy?

I rerun this because I was skipped and frankly because I can.

(If you are familiar with S.T.A.L.K.E.R.S. games, you will get this one.) Wasteland stalking is pretty much a hobby of the more adventurous Zitravgradians. The activity itself is not illegal, but highly regulated by the state with a list of safety control rules.

Image

As you might see in the map, there are three levels in the wasteland zones. The so-called "paper check" will start at the edges of the orange zones, where things are obviously going a little pizdec strange. They check your hunting permit, your gun license, your radiation protection, your vehicle and license (if you have one), inform you about the rules and the laws of the zones, and sometimes sell you maps, tools and supplies. The authority limits your access to the wasteland zones to the maximum of three days and three nights. The wasteland guards, who seem to be equally adventurous, also work as a sort of lawkeepers within the zones -- almost a state within a state.

For some, it is a thrill-seeking adventure. Even tourists can buy these permits, at a slightly higher price than locals. But for some, it is a career. Ministry of Science, Technology and Education (and even some other people) will buy any sort of lifeforms caught in the zones. (There is a limit on hunting to "as much as one can carry" which apparently does not exceed 200kg.) But what of the red zones? Well, it is filled with "anomalies" and pretty much left untouched by the state, except for a few air-based surveys. While it is technically illegal to enter, it is hard to detect...

Basically Bangladesh is married with Japan.

According to a local legend, the king's brother, Zym, out of jealousy for his power, sailed to a small deserted island, trying to make his own kingdom, but failed. He then tried to kidnap king Mym with help of his henchmen, and managed to rule for only 5 hours, because that night a great rescue mission was dispatched to rescue the king. Zym's henchmen were re-educated, and Zym remained on the island for 7 years before dying of hunger at age 38.

Was Zym starved to death? If not, how did Zym starve?

Auxiliary General Matyus "Mats" Mizrachi, Royal Atlantean Gendarmerie, was the previous commander of the Royal Guard branch of the Royal Atlantean Gendarmerie. When he died on 21 June 2015, he was succeeded by then Brigadier (now Auxiliary General) Daniel Mizrachi. Daniel, despite sharing the surname of Mizrachi, is, in no way, related to his predecessor, just as how Indira Gandhi was, in no way, related to Mahatma Gandhi. Also, Mizrachi isn't even a common surname in Atlantis.

Uses certain NS stats.

Atlantis is an MT nation that is the third richest country in the world, behind only China and the United States. It is closer to the USA, UK, Italy and Spain (in that order, though Italy and Spain is probably tied) culturally than it is Greece. It is also a naval power.

And no, Atlantis is not underwater: It has a land area around the size of France.

Pros: Classical liberalism, democracy, the West, Brexit, Viktor Orban, free education, strong military
Cons: Authoritarianism, fascism, communism, multiculturalism, Islamism

OOC-ly speaking, Holly was based on the concept that "You cannot imagine a new face that you have never seen before." So IRL, if you draw some face, chances are good that you have seen them somewhere before in some point of time. It also gives Holly a mysterious feel, with no one being able to portray her correctly except herself. IF she wants to, she could draw it on a piece of paper easily, but nope, Holly says, "It's an exercise left for the observer".

No face doesn't mean that she looks like slenderwoman, mind you. Just obscured.

Well, whatever you say. Agree with the first part, though.

Although all states are republics, in some of them, there are still laws, which are similar to lèse-majesté law. Those kinds of laws are the most popular in authoritarian countries, but there are plenty of democratic countries, where those laws are also in place too.

Ew.
Republics have no reason for lèse-majesté other than a whelp of a leader.

It’s common practice to retrofit existing structures to new purposes instead of demolition and building on the ruins.
For example, following our revolution, any property of a noble, bourgeois or royal was turned into something more useful like a school, hospital or something similar.

Well, that's not very fair.

Queen Rebekah has a reputation for bucking tradition of the Haschirite royal family. She proved that a while ago by insisting on adopting children instead of having biological kids (couldn’t blame her, really, she’s asexual.) And now she upset tradition again by ignoring the “rule” that Haschirite royals should only seek other nobility as spouses. She’s currently dating the former prime minister of Toraia (an ally of Haschiri), Yascho Jairo.
Her parents took this surprisingly well, figuring that someone who was elected instead of born into power was better than a nobody, although they still think that Yascho is sort of doofy.
Haschiri is a light-fantasy, modern-tech African constitutional monarchy.

The Russians in your timeline are actually decent people.

During the Protestant Reformation in our timeline, the Eastern Orthodox church actually sided with the Protestants to increase the Orthodox influence throughout Europe. Because of this, many Protestant missionaries from Austria, France and England come to Southern Europe because of the Church's constantly decreasing influence there. Today, 57% of Hellenes identify as Protestant because of missionary activity for the past 450 years.
