The soldiers notice this man, and are quick to answer.

"There's honestly nothing to watch nowadays, at least when it comes to state sanctioned television. 'UNIVERSAL TRUTH' is the only program we're allowed to access at times, and the content it portrays is awfully boring", one of the soldiers begins.

"The current news is largely about something happening in the Triangulum galaxy. Apparently one of our fleets was totally annihilated by the enemy, so now high command is postponing any further advances for 2 months."

The television the soldiers are watching plays, portraying a vast space battle somewhere in a nebula. Tens of thousands of vessels lined up together in what can only be described as a "wall" of ships can be seen firing their frontal beam weapons at a distant fleet, one that's notably less organized. The video fast forwards to a scene just a few hours later, this time showing the same "wall" nothing more than a broken mess of burnt out hulks and debris.

"Sorry, we in the PUCR tend to refer to anything prior to the 25th century as 'old', especially if it came from Earth. I personally have no problem with their animation style, it's actually rather nice, if you ask me. Sadly, my comrades with me aren't nearly as knowledgable of such", the soldier replies.


"And as for this place, it's definitely odd, to say the very least."
