WHEREAS the protection of the rights of minority groups and the achievement of economic justice is best served by a united front in the Elizian and provincial legislatures,
WHEREAS the neoliberal danger to the sovereignty and future of the Elizian nation requires their resistance to engage in close collaboration,

- The Socialist Equality Party is hereby formed from the merger of the Path to Harmony, the Chinese Interests Party, and their provincial counterparts. All assets and organisations of these parties are now part of the Socialist Equality Party.
- The overarching aim of the Socialist Equality Party is to bring about a new Elizia in which workers possess democratic control of the means of production, all faiths and races coexist in harmony, citizens are free in their personal lives and in the public sphere, and the wealth and prosperity of the nation are safeguarded for posterity.
Symbols- The name of the party shall be, in English, the Socialist Equality Party. In Malay it shall be Parti Sosialis Sama and in Chinese 平等社會黨.

- The official colours of the Socialist Equality Party are red, symbolising the blood of the sons and daughters of Elizia that fight for its emancipation, and blue, symbolising the renewed strength and consciousness of the Elizian nation.
- The Socialist Equality Party is a member of the Socialist International.
- The anthem of the Socialist Equality Party is the Internationale.
Declaration of Principles- The Socialist Equality Party is a party of the left. We reject neoliberalism, reactionarism and the war and destruction that the right has blighted our nation with for fifty long years.
- The Socialist Equality Party is a party of nature. We view the Elizian islands’ pristine ecology as holding a place of utmost importance to the spiritual core of the Elizian people, and so seek to protect it at all costs.
- The Socialist Equality Party is a party of the people. We fight for the common interests of the human race and answer to no one but the people, for whom we serve.
- The Socialist Equality Party is a party of equality. We oppose the artificial distinctions between peoples and will fight for equality of both opportunity and outcome.
- The Socialist Equality Party is a party of Elizia. We reject the imperialist, feudalistic values that the West seeks to impose on our nation.
- The Socialist Equality Party is a party of economic justice. We are the voice of the labourer oppressed in the factory and the servant imprisoned in the mansion.
Party Caucus- The Party Caucus shall consist of all persons holding public office on a Socialist Equality Party ticket or otherwise in affiliation to the Socialist Equality Party.
- Any member of the Parliament of Elizia or a provincial Legislative Assembly may enter and exit the Party caucus by informing a party leader.
- The Party Caucus may, by means of a vote in which two-thirds of members present and voting grant their support, expel a member from the Caucus for disruptive, deceptive or dishonourable behaviour.
Party Leadership- The Socialist Equality Party shall be led by a leadership committee of peers equal in standing.
- The committee shall be elected by approval voting, in which the Party Caucus shall vote for or against any number of candidates. Any candidate that obtains more votes for than against shall join the leadership committee.
- The leadership committee may designate a spokesperson from amongst its membership for parliamentary purposes.
- An election shall be held every two months.
- Any member of the Party Caucus may trigger a leadership election by way of a motion seconded by at least one other member.
Voting Policy- The leadership shall issue voting recommendations to the Party Caucus on bills and other legislative actions.
- The leadership may order the Party Caucus to vote in a certain way in matters of confidence or national emergency.
Amendments- Any member of the Party Caucus may propose an amendment to this Constitution.
- Amendments must be approved by means of a vote in which two-thirds of members present and voting grant their support.
Interpretation- The leadership committee shall have final determination on the interpretation of this Constitution.
