But perhaps you should think of some rules to keep it fresh so you don't end up overshooting into the 2030s or somthing.
But it seems fun, though im not so sure if ever seen anything like it.
The concept sounds familiar though.

Not exactly looking to start up a Forum 7 thread (though on the off chance I do and base it off this premise, my gratitude to you), I was just looking for more information regarding this thing I recall, but thanks a ton anyway. And if I recall correctly, I think the thread/s did a reset of the timeline whenever they reached present day. They (or it, as I've said don't know how many there were) also had this rule where only real individuals could pass for presidents.

I believe that should be permitted. And rather fun.

It's a shortform for summerposter. Summerposters are people who join NS forums because they have nothing to do in summer and most of them have low effort posts and lurk in F7.

Short for "summerposter." Refers to the idiot children who during their summer break (hence "summer"poster) or really any other time when their schools are out try to (quite frankly pathetically) troll this site.

Perhaps this is just my personal opinion but I find it to be rather overused, with people tending to use it as a blanket term for all noobs/low effort posters or just for people they don't like, which I think just leaves it with no meaning. Eh, this is just my opinion, take it with a grain of salt.

Ah I see, so it is basically the same meaning like the trolling kids?

Not always; Kids who make low effort posts.

Got it, thanks. I have seen this word somewhere for a decent amount of time, but I was just confused.

Question: do autopruned posts in F7 still count to your total post count, just not your visible/excluding F7 post count?
Terms: Total post count (post count shown left of "Including all posts"), Excluding F7/Archives post count (post count shown under your name and your post count classification, for example, Envoy under mine, or left to "Search user's posts), and Visible post count (When you press search user's posts; Search found *number* matches).
For example, mine:
"Total posts:
Excluding F7 post count > 208 | Visible post count >Search user’s posts
Total post count >2392 | Including all posts
(0.00% of all posts / 0.60 posts per day)"
Visible post count > "Search found 2389 matches"

Your thread was about something to do with NationStates. The multiverse is about non-NS things.

Above nation, and it's especially useful in F7 for games, responses, etc. because a lot of those things center around who the 'above nation' is. See also: below nation (BN) and above above nation (AAN). That what you're looking for?

Question:

My nation is supposed to be an ethnic Irish settler nation founded by Irish Catholic emigres in the mid-19th century, and they are later joined by subsequent groups of famine refugees, Fenian fighters, and exiled Irish Repurblicans. Essentially this is supposed to be an Irish version of Israel. Other settler groups will include disgruntled Irish-Americans, Catholic Scottish Highlanders fleeing the Clearances, and some Catholic peers from England.

The only question is I'm not sure what type of Irish it would make sense for Clogheen to be. Should it be English-speaking or Gaelic-speaking? Should it be Roman Catholic or attempt to become some indigeneous Celtic Christianity or even Celtic Paganism?

The nature of the state means that its founding elite is going to be staunchly conservative and Catholic. However, the Catholic Church in Ireland promoted the English language and was against Gaelicization. So by default there will be many conservative English speakers. However, the famine refugees are going to primarily be Gaelic speaking. The later groups of Fenians and Republics are going to be educated, urbanized, English-speaking, and include a few Protestants. I'm having trouble envisioning how these groups would relate and who would come out on top.

Would it make sense for Clogheen to be English-speaking and staunchly Catholic? Or Gaelic and practicing some native Celtic Christianity? Or full of liberal English-speaking Republicans? While Ulster Scots people aren't going to be welcome in Ireland, there are going to be a fair amount of English-speaking Anglo-Irish Anglicans who are sympathetic to the state. Which one of these groups is going to set the general cultural tone?
