The past occurrence in the AL response threads and community.
In the not so distant past when there was a boom in newcoming nations you would think that new nations popping up you would think that would be a good thing.
Sadly there is always trouble in paradise.
Older users grew tired of the lesser versed newer users and it was quick growing as a person would post and a older user would get frustrated for not knowing the rules.
This lead to older nations rising against the newer nations and users that were just new to the genre.
This self policing pushed many away. I wished to help new users. I will link my other post. And help you understand the genre.

Things not to do. I actually went alittle overboard in another post and gave a detailed description of what not to do in and things you can do in game threads so I will prove a link to said thread, you dont have to read it all but hopefully it will help you if you are confused.

HereThings you can doWhile one can get frustrated by you doing too much, you can also strike some nerves simply by doing too little.
I will do my best to help you understand how to get along with everyone.
Try to make a leader/expand your factbook. The first thing you'll want to do if you post in a thread about leaders interactions with one another is probably make one yourself.
I've seen high quality leaders and I've seen low quality ones. But having a leader is drastically better than not having one if you post in these genres of threads.
Feel free to go into your factbook and expand on your nation its a great way to help users understand the story you want to tell.
Even to this day I still see people post and get skipped because they are without a leader.
Be friendly and understanding with other users. This is a note for new and old users. But please make it an effort to be welcoming to others, we've all experienced that moment you meet someone you don't click with.
And understand that it could be the character the user is trying to portray, many times I've met people who are dicks IC but really good friends OC.
So please be understanding of the differences and try to not let a first time interaction be the last.
And please, to the more experienced users noticing some new folk. Help them out give them a hand, I've even tossed around ideas with other nations and had some interesting occasions play out.
Try to put some effort into your posts. This is one rule I have made up myself but I see others outright skip users for these low quality posts.
But try to match the quality of the post before you. I can recall a time I took a break and I came back and sent a two paragraph long post only to be met with a two word post.
I get it, my nation is scary, its supposed to be grotesque violence, monsters, and horrors. But that doesn't mean I want my interactions to be a simple
*screams in horror* or "Be gone demon!" *preys to the gods*
This one is a bit personal, but try to at least get a paragraph in, it's really rough to have to waste effort just to only have a low quality post(I could go on for a good hour)
