I don't know if it's illegal per se, but as policy I try to bump threads no more than once, and after at least two days per bump, so as not to spam. If your first bump post wasn't sufficient to revive the thread, then I would say to just move on.

This isn't really an F7 question, cuz DEAT isn't an F7-exclusive term but DEAT = deleted. As in 'an account that got deleted by the mods for rulebreaking'.

IIRC the term originated in like the hella early days of this site as a misspelling of 'death', think it was some user in those days who kept calling for people's deaths or something but their English wasn't very good, so they kept calling for people's deats instead.

She is known as a kind-hearted [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altruism]altruist[/url] who consistently believes in giving everyone in her nation a chance to change and grow into better people over time. Regardless of how many people ridicule her dream, she’s determined to make a fiscal way of eliminating all [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poverty]poverty[/url] a reality. Despite her youth, the people’s princess (as she is sometimes known) is extremely popular with common Nevecians. She appears to be a shrewd politician, although many would argue that her advisors provide her with a veneer of acumen. She is young at only 25, and very visible in the media, regularly appearing on lightweight chat shows, but tends to avoid anything where she might have to face tough questions.

As a child she excelled in her studies and was constantly placed in advanced classes, this would often lead to her isolation as she would often leave her peers behind and be place with children in an older age group. She studied at Cemiess Bardic College, where she was the student representative on the school's Board of Trustees. Whilst still at school she found her first job working at a local fish-and-chip shop. At the age of 18 she would be [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conscription]conscripted[/url] and placed into the Nevecian Arcanum due to her mastery of Bardic spellcraft, attaining the rank of [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corporal]Corporal.[/url] While there she earned a reputation as an [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elite_Dangerous]elite and dangerous[/url] operative, deploying in high risk anomalous combat, infiltration and extraction scenarios against the [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illithid]Mindflayers[/url] and became a primary military advisor to then Major-General Nydoorin for a major offensive operation against the Illithid threat and liberation of their mind slaves. Nydoorin evaluated Aisling's leadership during the operation as "nothing short of brilliant". When Aisling returned to Cubeo, Nydoorin sent an open letter to the local press which called Aisling "the best single Nevecian intelligence asset in theatre", stated that her work saved "a multitude of coalition lives", and noted that the Nevecian Forces should "seek her advice on how to change our entire tactical intelligence training and architecture".

Aisling has been cited in dispatches for the usefulness of her tactical [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Counter-insurgency]counter-insurgency[/url] knowledge in the planning and implementation of an unnamed operation in 12214 to secure important terrain. Her tragic family history, accolades earned during her tour of duty and her body of work with the disenfranchised would prove overwhelmingly popular with Nevecian society earning her the nickname of "the people's princess" and culminating in her election as the youngest Prime Director in Nevecian history.

here's the 4x4 grid variety of it, you can basically fill in whatever axes you want with whatever font you want, although usually i see terminal-based font used for those. the one i used is called Perfect DOS VGA 437 which is a pretty good replica of the type of font used on MS-DOS and other DOS derivatives from the 1980s. i used photoshop to cleanly insert the images into their little grids, (special paste into) and then to make the white text stand out from the image i place it on, i use a special effect stroke

photoshop CS6 is pretty handy if you have it on hand, i made my banners, my flags and the future compass with it, although if you get past the learning curve of the GIMP i imagine you could do it with that as well

Hello! Question, is this the right place to ask about what I presume was/is an F7 thread? Anyway, I recall seeing this 'US History Forum Game' (in fact, I think I recall several threads with the same shtick) or something along those lines where posts would progressively add to a fictional list of presidents, and the occasional interregnum. Threads would look something like this:

Post 1:
1789-George Washington-Independent-First President of the United States

Post 2:
1789-George Washington-Independent-First President of the United States
1791-John Adams-Federalist-Second President, did some stuff, blah blah

Post 3:
1789-George Washington-First President of the United States
1797-John Adams-Second President, did some stuff, blah blah
1801-British Occupation-Uh oh, the Brits come a knockin'

Post 4:
1789-George Washington-First President of the United States
1797-John Adams-Second President, did some stuff, blah blah
1801-British Occupation-Uh oh, the Brits come a knockin'
1805-Alexander Hamilton-Led successful rebellion against invading British forces

And so on. Apologies if I am misremembering and this is in fact not a Forum 7 thread/s, but the fact that in some sense, you could call it a posting game and that I'm having a hard time finding these (presume they were lost to the F7 autoprune). Also apologies if this isn't the right place to ask. So, question is: Did these actually exist, and if so, where can I find them? While I don't think I ever participated in them, I do recall them being interesting reads.

I could see it being an F7 game. Much like the ones that add onto each other like the 1000 monkey genocide.

But perhaps you should think of some rules to keep it fresh so you don't end up overshooting into the 2030s or somthing.
But it seems fun, though im not so sure if ever seen anything like it.
The concept sounds familiar though.
