[ON HOLD] Repeal: "Liberate Empires Forever United"

Postby Northern Slatavia » Thu Aug 13, 2026 4:12 am

Just a heads up, the main author of this proposal is ADE, and I have been given permission to post this draft. It will likely be switched over to them via moderation when necesarry.
This was written with the consent of Onomanatopoeia, vice-delegate of EFU.
Target
Repeal "Liberate Empires Forever United"
Category: Repeal | Proposed by: Adriatic Democratic Empire

The Security Council,

Acknowledging that this chamber, in its duty to spread goodwill, has repealed a plethora of unnecessary liberations across its history in an effort to ensure regions retain the autonomy that they deserve,

Presenting the case of Empires Forever United (EFU) as an exemplar case of a liberation that ought to be struck down to deliver autonomous control to its native citizens,

Recognizing the efforts of the resolution to allow defender forces to enter and liberate the region,

Aware that upon the repeal of the injunction, the citizens also require a password to ensure raiders are barred from having entry into the region and snatching the delegacy from native hands,

Wishing that EFU’s citizens should retain full autonomy over their region,

Hereby Repeals “Liberate Empires Forever United”.

Oops. I didn't see that Onomanatopoeia gave consent. I'd like proof, but support. I feel like getting the place in order should be prioritized over this resolution, though.

Thanks for the support. As ADE has the consent telegram, I'll tg Onomanatopoeia to post and ADE to at least send a picture of the telegram, but both have not been very active lately.

It does what it says on the tin but the draft is a bit bland. Feels like it’s come off the assembly line rather than being crafted. Note that is not an accusation that AI is being used.

I think the word “citizens” should be removed from the draft as it implies some form of government which seems singularly lacking if you look at the region. “Natives”, “residents”, “inhabitants” are all good substitutes.

There’s currently no WA Delegate and hasn’t been for a while by the looks of it. They really need to get that sorted before thinking of a repeal.

Edit: if ADE can’t be arsed to draft their own text in the forum then I can’t be arsed to vote for it. Against.

Do you think I should abandon the draft and wait for ADE to submit their own copy to the forums?

Personally, yes. But it’s up to you.

Ok, I trust your judgement, and will wait for ADE to get less busy, or possibly take over as main author.

well I'm getting rightfully shat on.

fyi. I have been all over the place this summer and have really had next to no time to properly give attention to this draft. So my co-author asked to post it. against my better judgement I decided to go ahead and give him the green light. I admit the draft is pretty rushed and not up to what I'd like to produce.

it does feel pretty bland so now that I'm back I'll actually give this a proper do over. So yeah this fuck up is on me
