[LAST CALL] Repeal “Declaration on Hippopotamuses”

Hello the Security Council. Very simple proposal that some feedback would be nice on.

The Security Council,

Understanding the noble goal of recognizing the biggest and the largest creatures as important parts of the ecosystems that they inhabit,

Noting the affront to this that is SC#361 which noble in its goal in trying to recognize this mission fails utterly and totally at these aims,

Recognizing the blatant falsehood of the second clause in its recognition due to the existence in the multiverse of the Pygmy hippopotamus and other smaller varieties of these creatures,

Questioning why hippopotamuses are noted as being large themselves when bigger larger creatures exist such as the noble and much larger blue whale,

Believing that just because a creature is large that it does not warrant its own resolution on the topic serving nothing but to mock larger creatures,

Hereby repeals “Declaration on Hippopotamuses”

I’ll be honest I did an evening river cruise on the Zambezi river a few years ago and there were hippos in the water.

They didn’t look that large to me.

(Best conference ever - the conference hotel was less than 10 minutes walk to the Victoria Falls. The hotel didn’t use lawn mowers - there were zebras cropping the grass.)
