The World Assembly,
Noting that The Selkie, as a nation founded in 2014, which quickly grew to be a major community voice,
One that not only has done many things to improve not only the quality of life of other nations but that of their own,
Understanding that The Selkie has done much more than could have been previously thought possible by many nations of the same starting point,
Who has hosted numerous events, including a Spring Festival in 2024, within the Free Lands, a safe place free of discrimination, one of hope and peace, and of calm and welcoming nature,
A place that has held on to their nation's territory, unlike other nations of that year who have vanished into the essence of time, and at the same time taken care of their nation, allowing it to flourish.
And being a trustable voice in the community, one of reason and safety, that does not lie and is not afraid to stand up for what they deem right,
And a guide for new Nations and experienced Nations alike.
A place that has a rich cultural heritage and deserves more recognition,
A place with a wonderful environment that has not been destroyed by a decade of activity on the face of this earth, unlike countless other nations,
Concluding that without the presence of such a rich and wonderful nation that has done so much to help the world, and possibly beyond the world, serving as an example for even aspiring nations that may not be formed yet, the entire World and Assembly would not be the same,
