This is nonpartisan and I don't want this to become something about gameplay beef. I also want to maybe give this proposal a better name, but the title was the best I could think of.

RECOGNIZING the contributions that penguins/penguin themed nations have made,

UNDERSTANDING that penguins have had a longtime association with the World Assembly, many having served as delegates and at times, serving in militaries,

HOPING that humans and penguins can coexist and work together,

WATCHING as penguins continue to have a influence in the world,

NOTING that penguins will always have a place in the world and its affairs

ACKNOWLEDGING that there has been nations that are penguin themed that have contributed to the world, most notably PenguinPies, former delegate of The South Pacific

HEREBY declares penguins as the official mascot and animal of the World Assembly

This isn't a self commend. My nation is not penguin themed exactly and the only nation I have with any connotation to penguins is not even used.

No, but quality does. No one cares if a proposal is a badgehunt so long as it’s worth passing. If it’s a badgehunt and worthless drivel, that’s spam. If it’s worthless drivel and clearly not a badgehunt (one check: how many resolutions under the player’s belt), that’s a mistake. If it’s a quality proposal, it doesn’t matter if the author’s clearly a badgehunter (e.g. Predator repeals). We want it anyways, badgehunt or not.

Most badgehunts are short. But we do have AI-written badgehunts which can be several thousand characters.

This is a case of someone picking a penguin flag and then coming to the SC and throwing shit at the wall to see if any of it sticks.

We’ve had well written Declarations about potatoes and hippos. The authors of those put together humorous and neatly thought out drafts. They spent time researching their subject and each of them had some raison d’etre behind them.

This “effort” is nothing more than a (wait for it) fucking awful badge hunt.^TM

You need to make this stand out. Perhaps tie it to some long standing NS tradition/hilarious story/hidden lore whatever to justify its existence. Mere memes don't get far in the SC. Put in the effort to justify "for" votes and really convince people that a declaration on penguins is a necessity.
