Hereby commends Europe.

Well first of all you should read the rules as your draft is illegal as it stands. Secondly do some research and find reasons why the nominated region should be Commended, because nothing that you’ve written is commendable.

Lacks an operative clause.

But if you’d bothered to read the rules or even looked at other resolutions you’d have known this.
However, you get a point for drafting here first. Minus several million points for the illegality and the lack of research.

Edit: actually you lose the point because you submitted about the same time as drafting here.

Just because it's legal doesn't make it good. Strongly opposed.

In the future, I'd recommend posting your draft in the forum for feedback and working with other users over the course of several weeks to improve it before submitting.

For reference:

The action that a resolution does (Condemning, Commending, Liberating or Repealing) does not have to be attributed to any body - however, if it is, it must be attributed to an appropriate authority - ie. the World Assembly or The Security Council. A proposal cannot have "Sedgistan Hereby Condemns Ransium" as its operative clause.

How has this region made the WA a better place? Did they pass many successful condemnations or commendations in the SC? Did they make successful resolutions in the GA that are significant? This clause answers neither question and is thus vague.

What are done examples of said laws? Are they significant enough in a good way? Why should these laws that apply to Europe’s citizens even matter to others outside of Europe? Again, no specific details are included in this clause, thus it’s vague.

What are the intentions of Europe and its cabinet? Also, this clause deals with a similar subject to that of the first clause, except this clause deals with present-day intentions instead of past actions.

APPLAUDING Europe's efforts to help make the world a better place,

What are these efforts and are they significant enough to the NS multiverse? Again, this clause is vague and is a repeat of the first clause.

Overall, this entire proposal is overtly vague and is something I cannot support.

I recommend you get acquainted with the SC and how it works. Read the rules and guide since you're a beginner and familiarize yourself with the standards of the SC by looking at past resolutions.

My best piece of advice is to look at past SC resolutions to get an idea for the standards for writing a resolution.

Stefan Savych looks over the proposal and says, "This is actually not too bad of a proposal. If it was 10 years in the past, that is. We suggest you put more effort into your research and take a look at some examples of resolutions passed by this chamber in the past."
