[Unibot III]

Bumpedy bump.

Edit: Talked to someone and have adopted (in good part) the Unibot comment on the Independent Manifesto, which I hope is clearer. Additionally, reworked the Lauding clause a bit.

For what’s it worth, I like where the draft is going. At this point, it seems like a balanced draft that should be widely acceptable on the international scene. Before submitting, I would suggest taking a look at some of the comments I made about sentence structure for other clauses, but I’m sure you’re anxious to complete the vetting process and move to vote.

A well written and researched draft and a highly suitable replacement. Like a few others though, I find the “inherently existing” bit is somewhat clunky, but I understand the reasoning behind it. It’s a tricky tap dance around the rules and I don’t have any better suggestions to negotiate them.

Certainly wouldn’t prevent me from supporting this proposal.

I am immensely disappointed with the drivel that NPU has put out in the form of a counter-telegram to Delegates. Bad-faith arguments, misleading statements, and outright lies.

Fortunately, the vast majority of Delegates appear to have seen through their "arguments", as the counter-campaign appears to have had a negligible impact on approvals.

I read NPU's counter-telegram and found it unconvincing. I think it was Morover who at some point made the point that it would have been slightly better if the author-coauthor had been the other way around in regards to the repeal and the replacement to which i concur, but what is done is done and beyond that the fact that Hulldom is a citizen of Europeia is not something that bothers me ridiculously. The proposal is well written and the nominee deserving, which is all that matters to me. Full support.

Can confirm that was never our reasoning for opposing via any means necessary any effort at recognizing CCD (beyond their Liberation, but granted I wasn’t around then so could be wrong on that). Our reason was because they tried (extremely unsuccessfully, but besides the point) to subvert us back in 2019-2020, an operation exposed in the first part of 2020.

One does not just attempt to subvert a GCR and get away with it. We have elephants’ memories.

I think this assumes that we were quite upset about this at all. On the contrary, we expected what we got and we handled it. Simple as.

I personally see nothing of note of Europeia that demands commendations. Yes, they are a great region who demands respect, but they haven’t saved the WA or anything. The WA should not have a stand on politics or preference, and by commending Europeia the WA takes an active stand on political decisions, no matter how essential those policies may seem to us.
