Hi everyone! Threw this together on mobile as a start. It’s naturally only going to be submitted if they password the region. I’m hoping to improve on this but since it’s a very OOC issue I want to be careful about it. All feedback welcome!

The Security Council,

Introducing Confederacy of Layem as the successor to the Democratic Union of Assembled States, forced to relocate due to the irreversible collapse of its founder state,

Recognising the nature of the Confederacy of Layem, whose government has long carried out unprovoked antagonism and infiltration against other regions and individuals,

Aware that the Confederacy's leadership alone is at fault for a sustained policy of intolerance that not only renders territory within its borders caustic, but all that with which the region interacts,

Bearing witness to the Confederacy of Layem's founder, Layem having been evaporated from the realm of corporeal existence by supernatural powers for transgressions beyond mortal comprehension, leaving open the path to reformation by force,

Believing the time has come for the international community to pacify this land and those that inhabit it, by establishing measures which reverse the Confederacy of Layem's attempts fortify itself against the inevitable consequences of its actions,

Hereby liberates the Confederacy of Layem.

Obviously full support for the proposal, and looks like its needed now which is unfortunate. My only concern is that it doesn’t go into why the destruction of the region is necessary. I definitely understand its hard to do since the issue is OOC, but you might be able to get away with the region being a threat to members of the international community.

I will do my best to incorporate this when I’m at a computer. Any specific wording suggestions?

I’m not opposed to putting a sentiment along those lines in towards the end, etc etc, if that’s what the people want of course

As mentioned I’ll have some comprehensive edits within a couple hours, in case this ends up being needed. Luca has been helping out quite a bit and I’ll probably credit her for that.

if i had to take an informed guess i'd say that it might not be so needed after all, but if it does end up being needed, The People Demand It. only fitting that layem's fall is immortalized in the sc with a democratically approved little jab, i think

Yeah I'm pretty angry but tbh I never liked the Confederacy part of Layem. I wish I just called it Layem but somebody took that region smh my head.

As much as I despise offensive liberations, full support from me on this one. Will happily support any efforts to burn it to the ground once and for all….

Looks tidily written and legal - captures the OOC toxicity in a nice IC manner.

There was a "Layem" short after we founded COL when we were in a war with the VALTIC. The guy threatened to recruit for it and start a second Layem. When he quit NS, I had Layem under my control and I forgot about it. Obviously I had a change a heart about the name down the line, because well I would 've liked to change the regional theme from time to time, similar to Enadia's theme changes.
