[DRAFT] Commend Tinhampton

The Security Council,

RECOGNISING the many accomplishments of Tinhampton,

INCLUDING,
  • its wise and astute leadership of Sophia
  • its authorship in the General Assembly of resolutions 549, 559, 562, 567, 578, 589, and 590; and co-authorship of even more besides
  • its authorship in the Security Council of resolutions 250, 251, 267, 374, 375, 382, and 385; as well as co-authorship of resolution 356
  • its active involvement in defusing international incidents and mediating between nation-states
  • and brief moderation of the hit social media platform micro.blog

BELIEVING that these accomplishments should be celebrated,

UNDERSTANDING that some nations have minor issues with Tinhampton,

BUT suggesting that they leave their biases aside and look at the case for commendation objectively,

Commends Tinhampton.

This is terribly short in details. Why were those resolutions good? What is defusing international incidents? Though I agree with the sentiment, this is yet another poorly written draft by you.

Full support! :P

It’s exactly the sort of crappy Commendation that they deserve.

No details about any of their contributions to NS, strange qualifier at the end, boring, etc.

While I support recognition of the nominee, it's going to take a very well put-together resolution to ever commend Tin, and this is certainly not it.

Concurrence with those above, as usual.

Everything. We should be working on commending raiders, not this...

It's a clever reference to their participation in RP.

Plenty of details, not that strange, not 'boring'. How can boringness be measured in a proposal anyway?

So, nothing to say about it but you just want to say you agree with others?

“Ambassador, I agree with the concept, but you should briefly explain why the accomplishments are significant in the proposal. Also, the last two clauses of the proposal are unnecessary, so those should be cut out.”
-Charlotte Schafer, WA Ambassador for the Clevesian Empire

I like Tin, but just like the other 500000 commendation attempts that have failed and were better detailed, I don't see this one fairing any better especially due to its severe lack of detail.

This isn't about me. It's about Tinhampton.

And yet your resolution is so absolutely bare-bones that even I'd have to agree with Wayne that it's definitely about someone, but that someone isn't Tin.

Fun fact: If you're wanting to write a serious legit resolution, put more effort into it. For someone with Tin's history, this is hardly befitting at all as a commendation.

As is, much like your other resolution for Westmonkwick (even ignoring the WA-multing accusations in that one), this is hardly anything other than attempt at badge hunting.

They have said what I wished to say, so, I have no reason to repeat it, when they will do it themselves.

Therefore, I concur with them and not you.

Well someone liked this so much they decided to plagiarise it and submit it as their own work. Not once, not twice but three times.

GHR submitted for removal.

Not even a good proposal to try and plagiarize anyway.

Gone now and the offending nation removed from the WA.

I support it, but it’s lacking context. If you want it to pass, or even reach quorum, then add more detail.

There was three nations endorsing them that all had similar names, so I thought that may have been picked up on. Sorry for threadjacking. Back to whatever this is.

A day old nation called Nadagarcar. Don’t know if it’s an alt of Bareca, but you’d think they’d have learnt their lesson.

They were a day old nation and so ignorant of what makes a quality proposal.
