Repeal Liberate The Mystical Council

LAUDING the admirable efforts put forth by Alistia in this Liberation Proposal as valid and necessary

NOTING that this Liberation was intended to prevent raider destruction of The Mystical Council

ACKNOWLEDGING that the target region’s destruction and refounding in advance of the liberations passing renders it functionally moot

REGRETTING that this Liberation can no longer serve its intended purpose and only now presents the Brotherhood of Malice and associated raiders with a further ornamental trophy

RATIONALIZING that it is imperative to strike archaic and dysfunctional proposals from the annals of the Security Council in fairness to aspiring authors

HOPING that the original residents of The Mystical Council can find an amenable home in coming times

SURMISING that, in solidarity with the victims of this raid and in observance of best practices of the Security Council, this liberation should be removed from the now permanently occupied region,

Personally would support if a native of the original Mystical Council (aka Alistia or one of the others) is fine with it being repealed.

Just a stylistic preference. It's certainly not a dealbreaker. The latter part of my post though is.

Fairly confident I can get both Diviciacus and the Founder to approve. =P As far as approval from The Mystical Alliance, I have not reached out as of yet. I'm aware of the obstacles if they oppose my legislation.

Alistia proved themselves a capable drafter/author with the initial liberation. I’m sure they and the other actual non-trespassing natives can come up with a suitable repeal if they so desire.

So yeah, opposed due to both the context surrounding the author and a lack of native support.

A) I'm more than happy to have that liberation stand. It mentions me personally, puts a shiny plaque on my refounded trophy. It's written very well, etc. However on the other hand I'd also like to clear out a liberation on the books that is doing functionally nothing. This liberation serves for nothing right now other than to put a pin in my lapel.

B) If Alisitia or another Mystical Alliance native were to provide significant feedback and work, I'd be more than happy to add them as a co-author.

Even if you already have a badge, you can still go for more. My point still stands, Venico's draft is better written than yours even if they were part of the raiding party that took over TMC.

To address a few things all at once. Those accusing me of "badge hunting", I guess? When I saw the Liberation passing without really any major delegate votes switching despite the region being refounded, I knew this liberation would get repealed. Whether it be this month or a year from now, it's going to happen. SC usually doesn't let me keep shiny plaques on trophies, nor does it usually let legislation that is outdated go unrepealed, and make no mistake this legislation will be outdated when our raid goes from recent trauma/glory to the slightly more faded legend. Upon that thought process I decided that there's a few things I enjoyed the last few stints of NS I did, and one of them was the Security Council. Figured this would be a nice way to dip my toes back into it. Now granted I didn't expect to be posting it so soon but with other proposals being put forward, I felt it better to be doing my drafting in the open. If this never goes anywhere I'll be just as content if it does.

On the note of approval from The Mystical Alliance, I have reached out to someone who I kept pretty cordial correspondence throughout the raid with, Alistia. I plan on working if them if they'd have me, if not well then this draft will sit until I decide I want to do something with it.

Vedan (a native) has expressed opposition to a repeal of the Liberation of TMC. As such, no support.

Opposed as well. The TMA held a referendum on the topic, and they voted 7-0 to keep the liberation up.
