[Abandoned] Repeal: "Commend Kandarin"

The Security Council,
ACKNOWLEDGING the historical significance that SCR #2 has,

UNDERSTANDING that Kandarin is a nation well deserving of commendation,

HOWEVER, noting that this resolution was very poorly written and very old, not living up to the Security Council's standards,

KNOWING that the arguments proposed in SCR #2 were very broad and not very descriptive, not fully listing all of Kandarin's accomplishments,

BELIEVING that the Security Council can surely write a better commendation of Kandarin, not just saying they are worthy, but fully explaining why,

HEREBY Repeals SCR#2, "Commend Kandarin".

Please tell me if they are any grammar/spelling mistakes, or any suggestions to make the resolution better.

Hi there. Welcome to the SC :)

"Dear Security Council" is a violation of the Perspective rule as proposals should be from the perspective of the SC, not addressed to the SC; you should use something like "The Security Council". That said, I unfortunately will likely be opposed to this as:
- Kandarin has stated that they do not want their Commendation replaced and
- I don't really agree with imposing modern writing standards on older resolutions in the SC; in the GA it's largely justifiable as the quality of resolutions does actually have an effect roleplay-wise, but in the SC it's largely just the fact that standards since then have grown larger.

Once I get back on computer in morning this will likely be retracted due to kandarin insistence of not replacing their

Against. Kandarin remains worthy of commendation and the writing of 10 years ago is not really applicable as a reason to repeal this resolution.
