Yes, I am not sure what St Spain is doing, he doesn't understand how the WA works.

I actually don't see any large illegalities in the proposal, but it deals in roleplay, and personally I think rp should be kept from affecting proposals, as do others.

Yet C&Cs have been awarded on the strength of a nation’s role play. Whether you think a C&C should be awarded for role play is neither here nor there, authors are allowed to write a proposal about it. As long as they keep it IC and don’t mention role play directly it will be fine from a legality point of view.

In this case it’s a fairly awful bit of writing but no worse than others I’ve seen that cover the same sort of area.

QUOTING the grievous crimes committed by the Lemyonean government such as:-

• Outlawing political freedom and all civil
rights
• Making slavery legal
• Human sacrifice without the consent or
approval of the victim or his or her
family members

RECOGNISING that forced slavery ,human sacrifice without consent and Outlawing political freedom is a breach of basic civil rights (Right to Freedom of Choice) and is inhumane in nature

UNDERSTANDING that the rogue Lemyonean government will not end these malpractices without regional and international pressure

THEREFORE the World Assembly as a whole, hereby condemns the rogue nation of East Lemyone for legalizing slavery , outlawing political freedom and sacrificing human beings.

For the record, the proposal as submitted is legal.

- This is not the proposal, I have written some and got one to quorum, but this proposal was written by someone who is in the same region as me. Please look at the actual proposal before trying to tell me what to say.

Actually if you hadn’t started this thread the proposal would have sunk without a trace, like so many poor quality proposals before it.

Tinhampton is a rubber stamper - they will approve pretty much any proposal legal or illegal, good, bad or indifferent.

Yeah no. Unless an undrafted resolution gets support and reaches quorum, it's better off not to post them as most of them will just die quietly without getting the approvals needed.
