Yeah, unfortunate how quorum raiding is still a thing and won't even have a resolution against it passed yet, at a much greater disappointment to me than this not reaching quorum.
(Although I would not be surprised if someone counter-campaigned at this point.)
Still, I'm not surprised. It actually came about three times closer to reaching quorum than I anticipated.
Alas, people value the symbolic meaning of things far more than the real implications said things have.
(But then again, said implications are all hypotheticals on a political satire site so I'm not going to make any bigger a deal of it than I already have for argument sake.)
Still, don't be entirely surprised if one day the target resolution causes genuine complications down the road. Lest of course that tickles your fancy.
Many thanks for keeping this thread interesting. Alas it didn't have enough interest to make genuine cannon fodder.
It's been an interesting experience, but when it comes right down to it,
I'm actually relieved that my GI badge doesn't have to sit next to a SC or WA one.
In hindsight I really should have submitted this on an alt.
And don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled a draft with "Section 3 Article II" and "Section III article 2" did not get far. That is genuinely disgusting.
