Security Council Proposal to Condemn The Communist Bloc

There is no point, your efforts have been futile in thwarting this legislation. There is no doubt that the good people of NationStates will vote for my modest proposal. Unfortunately it has not spread as far as I would've hoped and many nations have not heard about it yet. Once this proposal reaches quorum they will hear our cause and join us in legions.

You are not on track to reach quorum, and the sheer lack of quality in what you've submitted is going to turn off every major delegate and the nations endorsing them from voting for it. The nominated region does not merit condemnation, certainly not in this manner.

Ah yes our futile efforts. This proposal reminds me of the “condemn lily” proposal that recently reached the floor of the SC. Do you know what happened to that proposal? It was stomped down in voting. The author acted slightly similar to you, where they didn’t listen to the advice of the SC forum members, and, as a result, had their proposal stomped.

While the author of the failed Lily condemnation didn't really listen to much feedback, they at least didn't brag about how the best their resolution is 24/7.

That’s laughable, three moderators have said the exact opposite by legalizing my proposal. It clearly does meet the sc standards. As for lying, everything I wrote was previously discussed with members of TCB who choose to remain unnamed. Just because my proposal is unique doesn’t mean it’s wrong.

Moderators have confirmed the proposal is legal according to the Security Council proposal rules. That's not the same as the informal standards that World Assembly participants, in particular experienced Security Council regulars posting here, tend to expect from proposals - things like well-reasoned arguments that are backed up by facts, and well-written text that has gone through a thorough drafting process. Or in short - the "quality" of the proposal. Put bluntly, it's possible for a proposal to be legal yet crap.

Having said that, I absolutely agree that communism should be Condemned wherever it occurs. Unfortunately, this proposal does not make the case well enough.

Proposals meeting quorum is the easy part, frankly. Winning the vote is the hard part. Unless you've secured some high-level support from big regions that initially stack for, you're not going to win the vote.

I wonder who his "silent majority" is? He keeps claiming he has a silent majority, but I wonder who they are?
