Hello SC thread! I have come to you to discuss a proposal recently submitted by a member of my region, with the goal of commending it.

While it is true it is my fondest desire to one day, have a region worthy of commendation, my region has yet to reach such a goal and is still a long ways away. I urge all delegates here, not to approve this proposal, as my region has not done anything worthy of being commended.

I’ve asked them to remove it from the SC. It shouldn’t reach quorum anyways

I mean, it's frowned upon and generally viewed as not great, but I don't think it's a perfect problem, no.

That being said, I just think the whole thing is flimsy and could describe half the regions out there. That makes it a bad proposal in my book. Hopefully the author recognizes the above and chooses to withdraw it.

You might also want to tell them that advertising their draft in other regions, requesting approvals, is classified as WA Spam and against the rules.
