Yeah this one basically will come to a vote and I'm obviously opposed to it given that it's not well-written.

The only way I see it passing is if like every small delegate and a majority of individual nations vote for it. And even then barely scraping by.

Those are mostly the small delegates and individual nations that have jumped on the condemning Lily bandwagon without reading the resolution itself.

That would be a breath of fresh air in some respects since it so rarely happens, but, yeah, I can't say I'm a fan of the resolution itself. And I'm annoyed that my prior ties keep me from writing one given that it'd be spicy.

Too bad those prior ties kept you from writing one yourself. I would have loved to see how you would approach that once more and yes, definitely will be spicy.

I do need to leave a mark on the GA/SC side of the game eventually. I've been pretty much everywhere else at this point. I was hoping someone would have reviewed the previous threads at some point.

Yeah given the author hasn't really responded to the criticisms of their draft, they definitely haven't looked at your prior draft and advice. Plus, they've strangely resigned from the WA.

Fully AGAINST. The author fails to make the case to condemn this region, and doesn't appear to care enough to do even basic research.

Personally speaking I didn’t expect the author to respond to criticism. It was obvious to me that all they wanted to hear was praise. Their resignation from the WA seems more to do with their region’s own internal politics than anything else if you read their RMB.

Anyway two hours into the vote and it’s currently getting stomped. Early days, but promising.

I think I agree with a lot of other people in this thread. Good target, bad proposal. Submitted here for critique first but it looks like none of that stuck, minus a couple spelling fixes that weren't fixed until it had already been submitted once. I've voted against.

Full support. I feel that the reason people will vote against this is because raiding is "allowed". Even then, this isn't right, raiding isn't ok just because its allowed.

i didn't even have to read it, all i know is that its condemning Lily and that's really what i care about.

The dishonorable region of Lily had attempted a take over of my region, the United Federation of Earth, which had been successfully defeated by a noble group of defenders that managed to counter the invasion before they took control. Without those guys, Lily would have full control over my region. Lily needs to be condemned for their actions and be remembered as NationStates public enemy #1.

I don't care if it's poorly written - as long as they get condemned and disgraced that's all that matters to me.
