It's very gameplay-centric of you to assume that NSToday is the most (in)famous and read newspaper (it's not a newsletter as you called it) in NS, especially when you couldn't possibly prove that. How do you even measure fame?

It's far more likely that a roleplay newspaper is the most read and most famous in all of NS. Additionally, whereas NSToday is a very new (and currently dying) newspaper, papers like TRT, SPINN, Miniluv Messanger, and PNN have actually been historically significant and are recognizable not just to people playing in 2018-2020. You could argue Miniluv, TRT, and PNN are cultural icons— a feat that NSToday will never achieve. TRT also spread out a lot farther than just gameplay (e.g. rl articles, WA, issues analysis, roleplay, etc) back in TRT 1.0. And Miniluv probably had a real consequence on gameplay. NST can't compare to them in fame.

These idiotic bureaucratic positions are probably why I stopped respecting NSToday in the first place. Governor, for example, was also a lie. They acted like the governor position existed to give the writers and readers a democratic choice over policy, but in reality the board (not elected) had a functional majority. That's just an example. If news organizations worried half as much on their articles as they do on policy, they'd actually be good.

I used to pay a lot of attention to NST, but very little to Llorens, because I always saw his articles as uncontroversial fodder.
