It doesn't really. It reads as if you don't think you deserve a commendation at all, while the next clause reads as the SC should not commend you based on what's in 118. Although maybe I'm just being pedantic.

I feel like this is something that shouldn't be done by the person who was commended, themselves, but co-sponsored or given the nod of approval from the person who was commended. It feels like a weird way to commend yourself again, more or less, so you can be able to add to your "things I've passed in the SC" resume, lol. I would assume that isn't necessarily the intention, but I can't say I would personally support this

Maybe it's my GA side that makes me so picky about this, but I suggest uncapitalizing and unbolding the first word of each clause.

Did I just tell someone who has authored far more SC resolutions than me how to format their proposal? Yes, yes I did. It's scarier for me than it is for you, I promise.

For the record, if this was by anybody else, I'd probably be against this proposal as-is - I don't think it makes a particularly compelling case, to be honest. However, because it is by the recognized nation, it's totally okay to simply not want the commendation, so I'm (albeit rather hesitantly) for the proposal.
