Tryna get an SC resolution passed and figured I had to post it on the forum for feedback, so criticize away! First time trying this seriously so hopefully it's decent. This is an OOC thread.

The Security Council;

Acknowledging The Great Imperator Jeffrey, known as the Jeffrian Imperium, as a multiversal empire;

Disgusted at their conquest of countless universes, estimated in the quintillions, for the sole purpose of feeding the war machine which will only continue to enslave, torture, and exterminate the conquered civilians;

Appalled at the Jeffrian Imperium's utter lack of personal freedoms and privacy due to their near omnipresent surveillance systems;

Noting that dissidents are often tortured and forced to admit to crimes they did not commit;

Enraged at the extreme racism, bigotry and xenophobia radiated from the nation, leading to atrocities such as;

• The outlawing and execution of all LGBT+ individuals;
  
• The enslavement and maltreatment of nonhuman populations, providing the bare minimum or less for survival;
  
• The execution of those who even sympathize with the nation's enemies;

Sadly Noting that the nation's slave-based economy is established on the control and oppression of their people to feed the ever-growing war machine,

Frightened that their aggressive imperialism has been left unchecked for over 16 trillion years, claiming vigintillions of innocent lives;

"edgy", from an IC perspective I'd certainly want to condemn a xenophobic multiversal empire with no regard for life

Although the target nation seems like quite the place. I don't think that they're deserving of a condemnation at this point. Until I read this proposal I had never heard of them. So, they may be too much of a localized menace to garner international condemnation. Don't let this deter you from trying and participating in authorship in the WA in the future. Overall it is written fairly well but at this point I wouldn't support it.

Unprovoked makes it seem a bit tame compared to what Jeffrey has done. I'd reword it as:

Disgusted at their conquest of quintillions of universes for the sole purpose of feeding the war machine which will only continue to enslave, torture, and exterminate the conquered civilians;

I know it might seem biased because I'm a Conservative, but I wouldn't describe Jeffrey as "Ultra-capitalist". I'd say it's more fascist, as it aligns with how Nazi Germany worked: The Business owners had their own businesses, and they controlled wages and what they produced, BUT the government controlled how much they had to produced and what they produced it for. Civilian factories were converted to military use and placed under military administration. Consequently, I'd reword it to:

I’m in full agreement with this. I don’t think the nominee is deserving of a Condemnation, they’re pretty much a unknown as far as the wider community is concerned.

However, your draft is a good attempt, nicely presented without any illegalities as far as I can see. No support from me though.

Thanks for the suggestions and voter insight! I'm making it clear here though that I will pursue it since this has been a very fun first experience, although it's still completely open to criticism

Members of regions that are targets of commendations/condemnations/liberations (particularly natives of liberation targets) usually participate in the discussion, why not individual nations when they are targets? Perhaps it would improve the quality of some C&Cs if the target pointed out misinformation, or verified their participation in government/raids/RPs/etc. Even from an IC sense, do you really think that a nation that was about to be condemned would hold silent throughout the process? Oh, hell no.

Thanks, and yes, it is to be taken literally. The rp can get a little wacky with the scaling. I'll work on wording that makes it sound more literal so it's clear to everyone.
